I need to draw a line after my last few posts, this is the Elle thread after all. For existing "Elle-heads" and (especially) any newbies, every bit of troubling ridiculousness of mine on this thread should be taken as the piece of fake 'dumbass-ery' that it is. I have gone to great lengths to make sure that Elle is aware that I have the utmost respect for her and anything that might appear insulting or crazed should be laughed at, not worried about. Which she does ... because she's smarter and sexier than a roomful of brainy tits.

Despite appearances, I am "normal" (a friend of mine recently described me as "prone to bouts of unforgivable dullness") and I do sometimes pause before pressing the 'Post Reply' button. But, in the end, if it entertains anyone (and especially Elle) then it was worth it. I'm still hopeful that I've grabbed the wrong end of the stick and proceeded to beat around my bush with it.

I'll post some caps from this morning's show later on tonight.

I thought you knew me well enough by now FS to realise that I was not in the slightest bit serious. Occasionally my wit (and I use the word loosely) gets so dry that I come across as meaning what I say. I very rarely do. I know perfectly well that Elle enjoys your posts - so do I, keep em coming.

Thanks for the caps FS (if i may call you that) and yeah what is it with some of these channels and lights i remember talking to Amy Capri once and she said she had a massive headache from the lights but they wouldn't turn them down or move them,surely there is a screen in the studio where they can what is being put out,some of the sets are bright enough without drowning the girls in ultra bright light.

Okay, I wanted to post a few things about the quality of the Earlybird broadcast this morning on ch959, not least so Elle can see how she appears onscreen. Firstly, I can only really refer to what I can see on my tv and I do appreciate that other people with the same setup as me (SKY+) or people who view Earlybird by other methods (on freeview or via the webstream for example) might have a better picture quality than me (though I personally don't see how, unless you've got HD).

As I stated in my previous cap post, I had to work on the images quite a bit (decreasing both the hue and the saturation to find a good balance for each image) but it's worth looking at one of the caps in its unaffected state...



Obviously Elle is not that colour in real life (not unless she's being drawn by Matt Groening thesedays) but it's also noticeable that she has a weird 'Ready Brek' style glow to her silhouette. Now, just to prove that there is nothing fundamentally wrong with my SKY+ box or DVD recorder, I also converted from my planner today a recording of Kate Banks on Club Paradiso that looked like this...



...and a recording from Party Talk of Cara Steel that looked like this...



Both massive improvements on the Earlybird broadcast quality, I'm sure you'll agree. In truth, both Party Talk and Club Paradiso have had their problems with 'bleaching' (the contrast and colour being too high, especially when a yellow light is present) but they seem to have corrected these issues of late. Even the usually 'Simpson-esque' Babestation Daytime has redressed some of its lighting problems recently, taking a more pastel approach to set decoration and reducing the harshness of its studio illumination.

It's bad enough when Elle is shunted over to ch901 at weekends but if both 912 and 959 become almost as unwatchable then there's little hope of enjoying the soft, peachy delicateness of Elle's skin tone for some considerable time to come (and I do 'likes me' a nice peach from time to time).

Glad to hear your chilled FS and LG is fine although i don't mind being called a Gimp (i have been called a lot worse) ELLE calls me Gimpy which i quite like,(but thats just for the Red Leader),and as for the kittens i was late taking my meds so my mind wasn't really focused on what was happening and i have since discovered the pleasures of skinny women with big guns (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FRgYtp3HfvY) so i'm back on track.
