Obviously I don't have a problem with you docutech, but you have just inadvertantly mentioned my two main thorns with this subject. On point (so not relating to Elle's situation), confidence is a state of mind and is bypassed, not acheived, if a misguided search for "perfection" leads to potentially risky surgery. And this has nothing to do with whether we'd "notice" any difference because I was only concerned for her health, not her appearance. But I get what you mean and it's good to know that everyone is looking out for her.
I'm always reminded of a 'fake commercial' sketch in the Australian comedy show 'The Micalef Programme' which said ... "Concerned about ageing? ... worried about fine lines and wrinkles? ... then go to a burns unit and get some perspective".
In fairness, my preciousness on this subject relates to a previous experience with a former friend of mine and a botched elective procedure, not directly to Elle. Hence the reason why I took some time off from here, to let the resurfaced emotion simmer down. It would have been unfair of me to aim that in Elle's direction, especially while she's recovering.
Anyway. Elle and I have exchanged a few PMs over the last few days. There was some girlish sobbing and high-pitched shrieking (all from me unfortunately) but we're cool. As usual, Elle's wonderful nature and understanding makes it very difficult to dislike her (even though I made my 'angry noise' and everything). So yes, I will be rejoining 'Team Elle' at some point, maybe around the time she returns to tv. Hope everyone is well. Keeping the faith.
