Yet another person who totally fails to get the point of what these channels are about. How can they be classified as "teen" when you have to be 18 to call them, even for the daytime shows?
And how do you know that none of the channel bosses have signed the petition? It's anonymous, so no-one knows for sure who has or hasn't signed. All we know is the number of signatures.

well if any of them have signed you can bet that the rest of the channel employees would have signed it too and the number of signatures would be considerably higher and also from the publicity point of view |THEY WOULD LET US KNOW,and who says you have to be 18 to call them ,there is no censorship at all as far as the callers are concerned ,as long as the phone is unblocked to use ,or are you to tell me that you can tell the difference by someone on the phone that they are 18 and over unless they are in junior school or their voice hasnt broke !

Elite say you have to be over 18 Pretty standard requirement I'd have thought. I've heard the girls on numerous occasions say they've caught someone underage trying to call.



As for whether the channel bosses have or haven't signed, neither you nor I can tell for sure. You can only guess.

What do you think the chances are, if we get enough signatures, for this idea to be implemented? I have no faith in the tories but it'll be interesting to see there stance on this.

perhaps the administrators could put a message in the inbox of every member asking them to sign and also include it in the welcome message for new members.

Spanking was banned a while ago. It still happens occasionally but every time a chanel allows it they are at risk. Been mentioned in the notorious Broadcast Bulletins several times. And episodes of TV family viewing show Friends.

it happens alot on some channels, but i wont name them if its true that they're reporting each other. if they are reporting each other to ofcom then they deserve to go bust.

how ofcom are able to ban babeshow girls from spanking themselves when theres a whole film about it is beyond me. havent they seen Secretary?

you see worse behaviour on skins. they can swear as much as they want. the babeshows cant swear at all. on an adult show. in the middle of the night. you hear worse on loose women

The petition is up to 542 votes now - thanks to everyone who has voted.

Significantly it is back on the first page of DCMS petition, having languished on page 2 for the past month. Progress may be slow but looks like it has slow all round, at its back on the first page where it belongs.

This is very good point, and ultimately what annoys me most about the whole farce. Programmes like Skins, Hollyoaks late night, Shameless etc etc... They can have sexual references, foul language and scenes of violence.
