I still think many of us are missing the point. I don't believe the channels' continued existence is in any jeopardy. Quite the reverse. The channels are making sure they give Ofcom no cause for concern. This keeps Ofcom happy, and in turn - the key to all this - is that those of us who are disgruntled with the current output are outnumbered many times over by those who are perfectly happy with it and will continue to keep them ticking over very nicely.

I guess what you're saying is Stan is just don't call, but i do agree with you, if the channels are still making there quota of calls every night, then why bother to change. " If it ain't broke don't fix it " theory comes to mind.
Stan yes the channels are making good money at the moment but as for their long term prospects, it's well documented that Ofcom don't like those channels and will find any reason to shut them down so don't be fooled into thinking that just by keeping Ofcom happy alone is enough to guarantee the long term future of these channels and that's why it is vital that people sign this petition, it's runs deeper than just wanting to see harder material. http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/13222

Again another valid point, It's the longevity of the channels which is the unknown factor. mmmh
I thought I'd update the stats from the mass mailing as a few more of the messages have now been read:

Total messages sent: 31,893
Unread after 21 days: 29,118 (91.3%)
PM read and deleted: 531 (1.66%)
PM read and retained: 2,244 (7.04%)
Those figures only confirm what I've been saying for months now, namely that the majority of viewers are happy with the babeshows as they are. We're ridiculously outnumbered and I don't see what we can do about it.

would be nice to hear the views of these people who have not signed, without trying to sound bias i wonder if they have ever watched a show pre-2009 before ofcom cracked their whip to know the difference to the shows now on,because the difference is abundantly clear ;(
The old shows were fantastic. All they need to do is watch some of the archived videos from the cappers and see JUST what they are missing.... The daytime shows were raunchy. Things like The Office, The Pad. Evening shows were class....*sigh* Sad Sad
I've signed the petition because i'd love to see the shows return to the days of Babestar etc, where if the girls wanted to show all or wear see through knickers, they could without the fear of having their channels license revoked.
Damn those were days.
Indeed they were!!!

200 signed as of this post... Not exactly going to plan

Well i'm really pissed of about this, it just goes to show like you said that the majority is ok with what is being televised. Dam that's bad news indeed Ofcom must be laughing there heads, oh shit this is not good.
I'm thinking the same, where do we go from here, well it can't get any worse, well i hope not anyway, i guess we have to hope either ofcoms budget get cut by the government, well lets face it there cutting all over the place, maybe some other regulator might put a case against them, who no's.
There seems to be to many questions, and not enough answers.annoyed
