Let's make it 300 before the end of this weekend, I think it's fair to say that we've all done our fair share of campaigning over the past few weeks, I still remember when the total was only 6 so many thanks to all and for eccles for getting the ball rolling, I still do believe in miracles and the total we have at present has a level of respectibility about it now, still not enougn to cause any damage to Ofcom but enough now to be taken seriously which just might claw it's way into the top 10 in the next few weeks, what I think would further enhance the numbers might be if we had the backing from a major newspaper such as the Sun or even Daily Sport. Anyway still plenty to be optimistic about at the moment.
well if your a member on other forums. ask there members to help also... spread the word on twistys, vintage erotica and other places that have forums for adults
Does anyone know if any of the channels themselves have backed it yet? I certainly haven't seen any posts in here from any of the channel reps yet. Rolleyes

And were fighting for them, just as much as we are for our own freedom to choose. And if the channels themselves back it, then others will too.

So I'll mention this to Jamie and the crew at Elite when they get back from the Ibiza trip on the 8th, and see if I can't get at least one on board. Wink
Spreading the word is key, and even though it might feel like banging your head against a brick wall, it's something you just have to keep doing again and again. When people first see the petition it might of only of had 23 replies and they might of thought "sod that" now if they see it is up to 250 then hopefully they might think twice.
Question:What an earth happens when a member of OfCom gets a hardon?? Do they skulk away somewhere and have a crafty bash?? Or do they punish themselves for being human?? For goodness sakes ...we are all guilty of this act? It is our basic animal instincts...has been around since the dawn of time....So get a grip on reality U OfCom arseholes and let people make thier own bloody choices!!!!
Well Scottisbloke had an idea, and I think he's got a good point about getting in touch with some national newspapers for e.g. The sport paper for example and maybe some other publications.
So I'm thinking of contacting a few editors myself and see if they would get behind the epetition which Eccles setup.
I would like some of your suggestions on this matter. Many thanks Smile

Some people on here overestimate the influence of channel reps and producers - their influence is limited.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - unless there is action from channel owners, industry investors and/or mainstream support from other areas against OFCOM's current status quo, then things won't change.

Good point, I think if the producers of these shows really want change then they are gonna have to step up to the plate, and really take it to Ofcom I guess it's that simple. If you think about it Ofcom as we no have changed the rules making things a lot tougher for the babe channels.
However in life, things happen to us and we either have the choice to crawl into a corner and hope the problems all go away, or you grow a set of balls face up to your problems and try and get things sorted.
In otherwords the producers of these babe channels should grow a set of balls man up go to ofcom tell them what they think of the whole situation and try and fight for what they want.

i mentioned this earlier last week about getting the shows to support the petition,if they cant do it officially through the show the backroom staff could each sign it every one counts,i thought about asking people on a social media site also but we dont want an anti petition starting up with the pipe and slippers and roller and hair pin folk on there so decided not to !
