Those, and all the people that post in the 'Today/Tonight I'm Loving' threads. I don't have any objection to the odd post in there - if you see something you love (as I did the other night - nuff said) then why not say so, but the regular posters to that thread are very easily pleased is all I'll say.
The odd mention cant hurt as long as there in genuine relevant comment to balance it. Most readers will ignore it but a few will stop and think. It doesnt take much to start an avalance but it has to start at the right point and we havent found that yet. The more people who are posting on other forums and writing to papers the better the chance that sooner or later someone will find the sweetspot and suddenly it will take off.
Think I mentioned The Wright Stuff channel 5 on another thread nearby. Maybe package the issue in a way he might be able to talk about, and send them an email. They have to fill about 4-5 talking points per day so probably desperate for material sometimes.
Or what about get Ofcom on the Jeremy Kyle show with a representive from them and one from the Adult Channels, what a fiery contest that would prove to be.

That's one of the strongest ideas for attack I've heard so far.

Yes, but certainly not my idea, continental. The credit goes to Roquentin. There's more than a good chance the show wouldn't touch the idea with a barge pole, but it's worth a shot I'd say.
Well it's worth a shot Stan, I guess the old saying which says " you can't win the raffle if you don't by a ticket " comes to mind. It's worth a go, we've got nothing to lose.

Or representatives from two different channels that are at each others throats. Or perhaps someone from a current or former encrypted live show and someone from a FTA show. In a pool full of jello. Might go down better on Harry Hill, trouble is theyd cut to commercial.
Trouble is Id hate to have to thank Jeemy Kyle for anything. Might be better to have a spot introduced by Ant and Dec.
