Gia left but her debut last night was terrible, nearly two hours or so before being allowed or choosing to go topless. I hope some of the big names stay but the newer ones are more likely to build up a fan base before even considering leaving let alone OF.

Doing fuck all expect for giving them the public profile they were then exploiting in the first place; providing the consistent publicity to same that was helping them capitalise on what they were doing; all while the babe's launched private businesses that in some ways cut into the market place the channels occupied - in effect creating their own competition and cutting out the middleman operators. The problem with OF is says to the babe 'coast as much as you can on the shows and save specific visual content for where it'll do you best'. OF was a parasitic to the industry at first. 66 are trying to establish that it can be a symbiotic relationship ... with adequate compensation. The fact that all operators have come up with different solutions to the presence of OF on their sidelines (BS set up a directly competing service to it, typically for them) tells you there is a distinct and very real problem with OF - if you just care to put yourselves in the shoes of an operator for a moment.

That is all true, but after last summer scandal XP changed how they where doing things to get new girls in as they had just lost most there rosta, the girls who signed last summer where told that they could have OF , post what ever they liked on Twitter etc but a leopard don't change it's spots and they have gradually been slipping back into there old ways, as they didn't do what they should in the summer and get rid all the senior management and producers,
They seam to have forgotten that a girl with a good OF following is making more from that than XP pay, the girls don't want to be part of the fan pages XP set up.to competition with OF as XP take to bigger cut, it's no wonder girls are off, add that again they are wanting girls to not post stuff on there twitter that could make them money out side XP it's just wrong,
Yes 66 wanted a cut based on the girls doing OF when at 66 and shooting content in the studio but at least they were letting them make there own money and not trying to force them like XP do to be only earning from XP so having control over them,

Only Fans is just another social media platform. Albeit, crucially, one where users oversee their own posts, without others' "moderation". Plus, of course, their posts can be easily monetized.
Given the public profile, that numerous people have built on "free" social media, including some presenters on these channels and websites, it is rather the case, in many instances, that these channels and websites are "parasitic" to the presenters.
They promote the channels and websites, to many who might not know much about them, otherwise. The reach of "free" social media, being far greater, than that of the channels and websites.
Although the channels and websites are on "free" social media, too. They don't have the numbers of followers, as many individuals.
Plus, OF and other subscription websites, have been around for long enough now, that many newer, or future, presenters have, or will have, built a profile through them, too.
As far as I'm aware, many, or most, of these presenters are self-employed, or on zero or limited hours' contracts. Their promotional use of any social media, "free", or subscription, therefore benefits both them, and their employers.
The greater problem for these channels, seems to be, how to reconcile, the more flexible employment practices, which are increasingly the wider norm, with being on tv. The costs of being on tv, are worth it, only if there is the regularity of rota, that would be commonplace with more fixed employment arrangements.
The more opportunities for doing your own thing, through subscription social media, or other individualised arrangements, such as webcam via AW, makes broadcast media, secondary, for increasingly many. Although, I'm not anticipating these types of channels' disappearance, from tv, for the time being.
However, social media are not going away, anytime soon, either. The very existence of this forum, which is a specific form of social media, is just one indication of that.

only way to beat OF is for the channels to have exclusive contracts with the girls but that will cost them

Every industry needs a kick up once in a while. For the better or worse is open to interpretation. Some fans now get better content from their favourite than they would ever get. Some will only find themselves newly discovered devious ways to get rinsed.

How many babeshow babes would you be currently following had they never been on the babeshow channels? A babe can make it without ever stepping in a studio, but channel exposure is still a massive advantage.

Without a doubt. But it's the babes decision to join at the end of the day. Either they're already too successful to 'need' the channels, or decide the channels can give them a needed boost & exposure

OF looks 'unbeatable' for now until self implosion or the next new thing comes along. Just different ways to co-exist with them.

But interesting some big hitters have left BS for S66 (has any gone to XP? Not sure). Have they accepted new terms or kept their existing BS ones?

you would have thought that with the part time hours at S66 and based in london and you can do OF there would be a queue a mile long to be on there

Think everyone is missing the point, it's not about how bs and 66 let the girls us OF its about the fact XP are not letting girls use it, even with 66 wanting 25% they are still letting the girls make lots of money off it where as XP are not letting the girls make anything from it , that's the issue XP trying to control all the girls earnings to keep them under there thumb
