Typical Ofcom incompetence. Are they saying revealing fetishwear is not permitted, or that either revealing or fetishwear is not permitted? Ofcom manage to write a clarification that just confuses matters.

And what is fetishwear? Is a leather dress banned? Like the expensive one Kate Moss wore? A PVC rain mac? Will Ofcom ban BBC daytime soap Doctors because it features nurses? Or any school based drama featuring teachers and pupils? (Hint: The Daily Mail is campaigning against this).

Further extension of Ofom's censorial regime, thanks to the broadcasters' failure to challenge them - they've got off with it up till now, so why wouldn't they? After all, they have to 'justify' their existence, so the continuing freedom to censor will only embolden them. Sad

This clearly cannot continue, Ofcom must be challenged, our basic human rights are being stripped away from us, I would understand if i was living in Iran or North Korea!! So much for living in a so called Demorcracy this country is a bloody jokeannoyed
You're right there continental we're not living in Iran and thank fuck for that too Wink because if we were we'd all be lined up and publicly executed for half the shit we post Big Laugh On a more serious note did anybody see Babestation Afghanistan last week they had their face out you see which is clear violation of their censorship laws and is deemed as hardcore porn over there Bounce
As I have said in another thread I think Ofcom should be replaced by a new regulatory body called.............. cwpussylover Bounce.
That would make things much more interesting. Just imagine the output. Even the dayshows would have tea towel holders out in force Bounce Big Grin.
It's great to see we can all smile about the dire situation we find ourselves in which I think it's a good thing. On a more serious point, I do believe that if the watershed means anything to Ofcom anymore then 9pm means Adult Material can be shown, which should mean that boobs bums and pussies can be shown whether its a free to air broadcast this shouldn't come into the equation!! 9pm should mean 9pm, in otherwords it's down to parental responsibility after that time!!

There you go everyone problem solved, now how hard was thatTongue
Well I've allready signed the petition to have cwpussylover to be the new successor to ofcom Tongue Only god knows just what kind of show's we'd be getting then, if not I'll happily fill the vacant position when it becomes available Smile

Don't mention watersheds to cwpussylover, I think he might have an alternative definition Bounce. What with piss flaps, watersheds and tea towel holders I think I need a lie down eek Big Grin.

Ahh, but you're being reasonable, and logical - completely foreign concepts to 'Ofcon', I'm afraid. Sad

Sadly, it will continue, as they aren't going to be challenged - the last few years have shown that, all too graphically - Ofcon are free to do as they please, and it pleases them to become ever more censorial. Sad
