New rules coming in June

All Girls on 900+ channels no matter what the time must wear overcoat and wellington boots at all times!
A sign of how ambiguous Offcom's rules are is apparent,as they're interpretated differently or individual channels impose their own rules.RLC,Sport & Storm (formerly Club Paradiso) all have babe who wear stockings on Days.Whereas I know for fact Elite & those who we don't mention don't,fairly sure BS are stocking-less also.

Eh? Did you post this in the right forum, eccles? And more to the point, can we have details? I for one would like to see these 'well dodgy' POV shows.

In actual fact, when the channels first started out, i.e when Babestation was the only one we had, they were tamer than they are now. It was bikinis and/or generaly skimpy clothes, but nothing more. It was only when it became apparent what the viewers wanted (from the text requests) and, more importantly when the people behind Babestation realised that there were no guidlines in place for such a show (it was the first of its kind in this country), that they started to exploit the nudity (and more). It started off with topless and peaked at Danni O'Neal's hardcore 'late babe' sessions.

Oh, yes. Thems were the days!!

What, when the shows were tamerBounce
The days before Ofcom were the good ole days.
I do think (hope) eventually things will get better because the rules are changing all the time.

They were tamer when they first started out. No tits = tamer, does it not?? And I'm talking about the nightshows here. In fact, back then there was no such thing as a dayshow. Babestation started at 11pm and finished at 2am. They were like this for quite a number of months until things began to change.

When I say 'thems were the days' I was, of course, talking about when they were exploiting the fact that no one was monitoring them and they were putting out shows like Danni O'Neal on the Late Babe.
Sorry Stan, it was meant to be a joke (my bad) because I totally agree with you about the shows being alot better at the beginning because they had no boundaries to push and like you said, when BS first started if they got enough texts they would flash their tits.
I first got SKY installed in 2004 but as far as the babe channels went, I never watched Babestation, it was crap, the main performer was stuck away in a tiny box in the corner of the screen and you needed a magnifying glass to see any detail, yes ofcom still existed but with the production levels being as bad as they were back then it was never a target for much regulation. In 2006 this all changed all the babe channels were moved to the 900+ section and under this we had a brief moment of more freedom, with the likes of Babestar Tv and Sexstation TV showing full nudity and using sex toys too, however although saying now ah the good old days, in reality it wasn't really all that explicit, it was softcore at best but things really began to heat up over time towards the tail end of 2006 with more sophisticated productions but it all came to an abrupt halt and Ofcom came down on all of this like a ton of bricks, Babestar had their licence revoked and Sexstation TV was ordered to clean up it's act and so came the era 2007 onwards of 2 pairs of knickers must be worn or granny pants as all full nudity was banned outright and we had to wait until 2009 to see full nudity return all be it in a more censored way than we had been treated to previous in 2006. Now 2011 and rules although strict are no way near as harsh as the ones previous post Babestar TV so I also do think that we are gradually beginning to see more explicit show's and remember it was the dayshow that got Bangbabes media licence revoked, not so much the night one and Elite too only got into hot water again with the output of the day show's, so Ofcom at the moment seem more hellbent of punishing post watershed airing and not so much the night shows these days, so at least at present although not perfect the shows have made a lot more progress in the last few years than they previously had been allowed to do so. As for the future, who knows but I'm still hopeful Ofcom get abolished outright and all censorship ended for once and for all.
I hate censorship as a whole, people should be allowed to choose themselves what they watch/dont watch. and its absolute bs having censor rules for these kind of shows, its not like kids are going to be watching at this time of night.

Thanks for the chronology Scottishbloke, I loose track and have difficulty remembering when things were good and when they were bad.

Have to disagree with you on a few details though. it was not "a brief moment of more freedom" in 2006, but a brief moment of not being caught and not knowing the rules. Freedom is when it is allowed.

And it wasnt the dayshows that got Bang banned. Ofcom had made up its mind so it was only a matter of time. Bang blatantly ignoring Ofcom did not help either. What got Bang banned was at least of year of not supplying recordings, pussy slips and continuing to put out the hottest shows when they knew they were being targetted. The dayshows just gave Ofcom the loaded gun on a plate.

And yes, Im still hopeful that Ofcom will have a visit from the resizing fairy. Their TV role simply makes no sense when there are 100s of channels and is an economic luxury that we cannot afford.

The Daily Standard is running a major campaign on literacy. (Seems loads of kids cant read, and for some the only book in the house is an Argos catalogue.) A suggestion that part of Ofcoms £110,000,000 a year might be better spent on educational TV on popular kids channels* might not go amis.
