That was the whole idea of having a 241, now they have killed that off completly and it answers my question why Elite stopped them all of a sudden.

So ofcom are concerned young kids are watching these channels? Okay they should be in bed at least before midnight how about relaxing the rules a little after that time? And if the adults caught them watching the channels surely they should have them pin protected.

• ensure that where more than one presenter is in shot greater care is taken to avoid broadcasting the above images or language.

Which referred to the other 9 points (no breasts before 10 yadda yadda). But now it says, to quote eccles above:

(11-08-2011 22:03 )eccles Wrote: [ -> ]Licensees should take particular care if two or more presenters appear together on screen. If there is any contact between the presenters of an erotic or sexual nature (for example kissing, stroking, or contact between thighs, breasts or genital areas) or any miming or simulation of a sexual act performed by one presenter on another, in Ofcom‟s view there is a high risk of causing serious or widespread offence against generally accepted standards.

This is very annoying. Previously it seemed to be pretty empty of content, just 'be more careful of points 1-9!', which they have to be anyways. But now lots of things appear to be not allowed. Not sure if it stops spanking, but I suppose so.

So maybe this was in response to babechannels seeking clarification on a pretty useless small bit of the earlier guidance, but if so it seems a very bad job. The conditional statement 'If xxxx then in Ofcom's view there is a high risk of causing blah blah blah'. Such a weasel sentence designed to cover their asses.
what do they want? blood !annoyed
Surely someone out there, must have a concrete idea to see if Ofcom can be taken down a peg or to. I've heard of suggestions of E pertitions and so on, but nothing concrete!! We need to do something but the question is what?? I mean let's face It everyone we can talk and talk till the cows come home but we're not getting anything done about it.
I'm not saying I have all the answers but " Actions speak louder than words " Ofcom are not invincible, they have a weak spot, it's just a matter of trying to find it!!!.

Firstly, do not kid yourself that the producers of these shows care one jot about their customers. Once you have accepted this, it then boils down to a very simple formula; are they (the babeshows) currently making enough profit to make it all worth their while? If the answer is yes, then they will cross the road to avoid any confrontation with Ofcom, and that means sticking to their regulations no matter what.

This only confirms my earlier theory that it is the fans - happy with the content currently avaialble, who are to blame for the current state of play, as it is they who continue to line the producers' pockets.

But it's their money, and as much as it annoys me, I now accept that I have no right to expect them to boycott the shows just because I and others want to see more fanny.

You've made a valid point, if the paying public are prepared to keep shelling out there money and call these girls then things will remain the same, I never really thought about it in that way, I was thinking the Producers wanted answers, but I guess if the public aren't calling in then something will happen. Mmh I like your thinking on this and the more I think about your comment, the more it makes sense. So i guess the message is to everyone " Don't call in " .
These new rules are NOT true. I'm watching Babestation now, and Georgie and Tiffany are doing just this, so it must be fake.

Rules dont stop it happening. The broadcaster is at risk.
Little point in the shows being on air when they can't tease n please is there.
Babestation are not licenced in the uk so if the non contact rule is true they get away with it by not being governed by big bad ofcom
So they are at risk, and they AREN'T at risk. There never seems to be a definitive answer. You'd think they would be wise not to risk something if they couldn't get away with it, right?

Either way, I can't believe that this is a new rule! It's just too ridiculous to imagine. So basically 2-4-1's are now banned. Great Rolleyes

I wish people would stop calling in so much, then maybe the channels would try to face Ofcom at the same time.

I had a crazy thought earlier, but do any of you think that certain women are meeting up with their callers in an attempt to keep them calling? I mean the people who call all the time and have a favorite babe, not the random callers. I've heard some of the women do this, but I never heard which ones. Anyone have any idea? Maybe that's why the calls keep coming in, because the women are hooking up at times with their best customers, the ones who stay on the phone the longest and call the most.

Big Grin
No one ringing up the shows is the only way they will grow a set and take on ofcom so they can have an audience again. Currently they make money so they will do nothing.
At the rate Ofcom are going with all these rules, the babeshows might as well pull the plug because within a year they'll have to stay clothed all the time and become what Babestation was right at the very start.
For me, I hardly watch the babeshows anymore because of how tame Ofcom has made them.
If people like me can go and fight the Taliban/Al-queda, then how hard can it be to go and fight the bunch of jumped up pencil pushing fuckwits called Ofcom.
Grow a fucking pair producers and get some pride back, instead of just sitting there and letting Ofcom fuck you up the gary glitter.
