Another example of how crap the OSG are is this screenshot from just after midnight last night. If anyone was wondering who the girl on the left is, it was Kerry Louise.
I am actually finding the constant advertising of the girls pics more annoying than the OSG at present though.
If I had Sky, I would not watch their shows anymore. At 11pm, I have no choice, but after midnight, after checking who is on ch94 and ch95 out of curiosity, I usually switch over to Cream on ch191.

I think the producers must be made to look at the above example and then they might FINALLY realise what a bunch of idiots they are who could organise a P*** up in a brewery!!

In any case it's piss poor management if they're just allowed to do whatever they like irrespective of any management instructions.

You're answering your own questions mate. The black boxes will be gone with the new graphics system.

It's probably best to note that moaning constantly and giving constructive criticism are very different things. I read this thread often, as I want to make the new system good for both parties.

And my authority, well maybe you should back track and once again read what Babestation has written. (thanks skateguy)

I don't want to upset anyone or get lynch mobbed (although I'm sure a few of you will anyway lol) but I think you guys really need to take a step back and think about the channels you are watching.

I get that you hate the black boxes, as many of us do, but before you go calling the producers morons and so on you should try and remember that their primary goal is to make money. In that respect we are no different from any (non-BBC) TV channel. If we don't make money, we disappear. You should also realise that most of you guys on here are actually a very, very small minority of the audience of the babe channels, and while we (and I'm sure every company) appreciates any of your business and all of your support greatly, how you watch the shows every night and follow the girls etc, you are an abnormality compared to the vast majority of viewers who just switch over for 5 or 10 minutes.

Unfortunately (for you guys) the producers have to hammer home sales at many points, using as many methods as possible (be it on the mics, voice overs, the dreaded black boxes or whatever) in order to try and make money from these kind of channel hoppers. These people might not pay too much attention to the main graphic, but will see some fugly black box and take notice.

I know to you guys that won't make it better, and I'm not trying to take away from the numerous problems such as camera positioning and things that will understandably be quite annoying to someone who sits and watches the show for an hour or more at a time, but to try and suggest they serve no purpose is a bit ridiculous, because if they didn't then they wouldn't be used would they?

And yes we complain about some of the problems with framing and advertising the same thing twice and things as well, and it's why we're trying to give better promotional tools in the new graphics system we are introducing. But unfortunately for now the guys have to work with what they've got, and although they're far from perfect they do a far better job than any of you seem to imagine (when did so many of you become privvy to how much money we make anyway??? lol)

It is an undisputable fact that the Babestation OSG are the worst of any of the Babe channels.
Nobody has come on here and answered the question of why they need to be so much worse than anybody elses.

But I just wrote a mini-essay explaining why we use some of the tools we do to sell things. There's not really much else we can do is there.

On all 3 Cellcast channels, the standard OSG's at the bottom of the screen are built up higher on the RHS. So would it be possible to move all the black boxes, timers, banners etc to that side of the screen (only) until the new graphics are launched. At times, they are switched at will and at great speed, so I assume they can be.

Then the camera ops know it's a no go zone and can frame the girls in the available space more often then not.

Why can't the boxes be smaller?, why can't all the phone numbers and other text be smaller?. I know Babestation runs in standard def but you could easily incorporate the boxes and all other text into the bottom info bar, it may have to be slightly bigger but at least us fans would still get a good two thirds of the screen to see the girls and their performences.
There is no need to have the text and boxes etc so big, its not going to make more people phone in or something. Other babe channels do it far better than Babestation and yes i understand Babestation offer extra services like the mobile pictures etc (which are terrible quality anyway) but its a joke the way the OSG is and its turning people on here away which means it must be turning many other viewers away as well.

Welcome to the forum, nice to meet you too I've heard the argument that we on the forum are a "very, very small minority" before, but how can you know that unless you ask every caller/texter/picture buyer whether they are a member on here or not Of course, most of your customers probably aren't on the forum, or I doubt they'd be customers for much longer. As for the viewers that only tune in for a few minutes or so, I'm not surprised. They'll see the amount of clutter and interruptions and scarper off to a better channel.

At least you're aware of the camera problems, but the black boxes are generally in the same place at the side of the screen, so a piece of electrical tape on the camera will let the operator know where the boxes are and adjust accordingly.

It still doesn't answer the question of why other channels don't have all these extra graphics and promotions if they are indeed such money spinners. Yes, Elite have an awful extra box (two today), but at least that's only on daytime, and not on the webstream (so the videos people upload are unaffected). The only other channel that had a lot of different graphics onscreen were Babeworld, but they were placed and designed in such a way that no-one complained.
