did the reduced OSG make you actually call the girl whereas you wouldn't have if the OSG was full?

thing is i will call paige no matter what so its a bit of a silly question. thing is im not your average caller i suspect but it would proberly stop me calling another girl that i havent called before i rarely call bs1 after 11 anyway cos that when it does seem to get worse with the interuptions

Let me get this straight. You are admitting that increasing the number/size/length of time on screen of the OSGs has had no effect on callers. In that case they are serving no useful purpose and you can safely reduce them again without affecting your revenues.

hmmm so what your saying doesnt mater either way so basically you are pissing a lot of people off for little or no monetary gain least if you were making a profit then would understand the reluctance to let go but if you aint then whats the point.

like i said we do understand you need to make a profit after all its what keeps the girls there but sometimes can look like you are only there to rip us off which isnt good for your bottom line in teh long term

the bosses should be using this as a massive focus group asking us what we want your competitors well elite does and thats why they get good remarks we are all watchers and some of us do call some including me too much

also is there a name we can put the letters to would rather speak to a organ grinder not a monkey and hopefully the letters wont go missing like some of the post has been

I don't know if this the right kind of analogy but here goes!! Watching Babe(Ad)station would be like watching a sports match on tv where the ball or some of the players were covered by adverts - it would be COMPLETELY UNWATCHABLE - just like Babe(Ad)station is a lot of the time!!

I am a watcher not a caller, as I suspect a majority of the viewers are, and I do not watch the shows to see ads covering the screen I watch to see beautiful and sexy women (mostly Paige) entertain me!!

By the way I think some of the ads are in fact misleading!! If a Sky viewer watches the shows for the first time and sees one of the black boxes encouraging you to press the red button, does so and nothing happens they will quite rightly feel extremely PISSED OFF!! (I know I would) If the organ grinders must insist on these ads they should make it clear that the BSxtreme service is for FREEVIEW viewers only!! It would be interesting to know how many suckers (sorry viewers!!) regularly pay £5 a night to watch something of a standard which is freely available on the internet!! I don't think the producers would/could come up with such figures!!

BTW HP you beat me to it in using the 'monkeys and organ grinders' expression but I think it is way beyond the time where the organ grinders come on here and answer our criticisms about this and other subjects!!

I think what I'm saying is, we're not pissing a lot of people off, we're pissing you off. We're pissing off a few people on a forum, who ultimately aren't going to be a strong enough voice to get a whole show changed. It's unfortunate, but that's just not how it works.

Look, I've just had an email from the head of production in response to some comments that I forwarded him from Vila about the use of the black box and stuff. The basic points of the email are:

- On screen sales are up
- revenue is up
- show performance is unaffected
- we're trying to balance out the use of sales boxes to limit the overkill
- if at any point these things had a negative impact on show performance they would obviously be looked at in great detail and changes would be made.

Dan Volatile just made a point saying that the OSG are serving no useful purpose, but they are, sales are up, they're making us money. Regardless of what any of you think about them, if they're making us money what do you think is going to happen?

It's unfortunate that there are people on here who hate the on screen graphics, but naturally we can't please everyone. And the people on here need to realise that they aren't a voice for our entire audience, you're a tiny percentage of it.

Feel free to carry on telling us about particularly bad evenings; and there was some shocking spelling the other day that I think ILoveMegan (maybe ally4paige?) pointed out, so things like that are good to show us as that was obviously awful. But overall, the brass tacks of this is that until (if ever) it has a negative effect on show performance, things aren't going to change dramatically. That's just it. We'd like to be able to please each and every one of you, but we can't.

The problem with sending letter to the producers is that they might read the first line of these, think 'What the F**k?!!', and throw it in the bin so we never hear anymore about it whereas on this forum all our complaints are out in the public domain forever until a moderator/admin deletes them for being offensive or slanderous!! I think this should be a public debate although debate is a bit strong because there is only one side of the argument - come on BS PRODUCERS make this a proper public debate and put your point of view!!

BTW is there anyone who watches the show and ACTUALLY likes the black boxes and rather watch them than the girls?

well why couldnt they have said this a month ago saved all this aggro. black boxes ae not the bain of my life if you they were you would have lost my custom a long time ago

who do i moan about the sound on the calls to was horrendus last night on the start on BSX doesnt help when geri comes onto the bed mid call talking on the mic either

Damn you beat me to it, Alot of people have expressed that they don't like the black boxes(including myself) and yet i've seen no one say they like them, So tell us does anyone like them?(besides the producers)
