Although I haven't seen all of the broadcast from PL tonight on Sky, I have not noticed a single blue info box at all. The red one has appeared briefly as normal. I guess they are saving it for 3.01am when FV starts. Tongue

As for last night, the producer on BS was still advertising BS Xtreme at 4.30am for £3 with the black info box and half screen promo's. I dont think any viewer is stupid enough to buy Xtreme for the last 20 mins. Huh Pointless really.

The only way in which Babestation will stop with the excessive ads is not through the moans of this thread, but from the loss of viewers to the cheaper TVX channels and the long awaited return of a watchable Bangbabes on FV.

BS should make the black boxes transparent like mod-sta used to do. I used to send him a pm and within minutes, the box would be transparent. Obviously there are people out there that want the services like the pics/vids & extreme. If BS used the ads in moderation, I dont think people generally would mind. At the moment it's just too in your face and some channels on FV are unwatchable.

Edit: The Blue Box appeared at 3.06am Tongue

Seems like they've always been at it:

It was a section that she did at approximately 0430hrs which kept getting interrupted by excessive OSGs every minute or so but suddenly at 0500hrs when Freeview left the excess graphics suddenly stopped!! I don't know if this is usual or not but if it is it means that the excess is purely for the benefit of Freeview or the graphics guy suddenly fell asleep!!

My guess is that they've always thought they can get away with it because until now Freeviewers have had little opportunity to go anywhere else, whereas they daren't try it during Sky-only time for fear of losing all their viewers (proving, incidentally, that they DO regard viewers as customers). Once Freeview starts the vastly increased number of viewers presumably means they don't care if they then lose the smaller Sky audience for the rest of the night, many of whom would in any case switch off and go to bed having already had several hours viewing time.
The Royal Blind Society have just been in touch and asked to pass their thanks on to Partyland. The really big telephone OSG that takes up most of the bottom half of the screen has delighted many of their members. Expect many visually impaired callers from now on! laugh
(Probably the only people who don't mind the girls playing peek a boo behind the graphics!!)
I get that ultimately babestation is there to make money and that a certain amount of screen space has to be taken up encouraging people to call, selling extras and advertising xtreme - but isn't it just a tad overkill at the moment?

I don't know a lot about advertising but surely its a case of diminishing returns - going from high exposure to very high exposure isn't going to increase your reach that much. Does an Xtreme ad have to pop-up every minute with a presenter appearing up to 4 or 5 times during one girls stint on the phone? Does a black box selling pics have to be permanently there? Do we need the bottom of the screen and both corners telling us about a girl caller? Surely the black box could appear for say one minute out of every five and the Xtreme ad say once every three minutes. IMO the balance could be better anyway - lowering the ads to a point where it doesn't effect sales too much and at the same time bringing in callers who are put off by excessive OSG's.

Exactly. The boxes at the ends of the OSG at the bottom of the screen could be used to display any message they want to get across. Most of the time one of them is already showing it anyway.
Greetings humans
I thought you might like to know that we robots also like to watch your human babes.
However, even with our positronic quantum photon multiplier eyesight, we are unable to see past all the large OSGs which spoil our enjoyment.
Non optional OSGs that cannot be removed by any viewer. Never ending adverts for BS Xtreme that SKY viewers cannot get and that only a certain proportion of freeview viewers will pay to watch. Another comprenhensive defeat for common sense and viewing pleasure.

An example of pictures speaking louder than words. Just about says it all really.

Crapstation only cares about them selfs not their customers cause all they ever do is block the screen with stupid black boxes Plus they advertise things NO WANTS TO SEE So why would any 1 want to join them.

Sorry for my rude comment but i had to be honest.
