new graphics are coming, other projects have got in the way and launching a whole new playout/moderation system isn't a simple task. do you want us to rush it out and have black boxes all over it as we didn't have time to make the necessary components?

now you lot are trying to tell us that turning the stupid black boxes off would be hard to do Well how do you have them off sometimes but on most times,go from one to two and then none, Is it that someones finger gets tired or is it in the job description that someones finger must press the button every so often. Of course it would have to be changed for someone to type in the box and to have the SPELLING checked before it went on air

where did we say the boxes were hard to turn off?!

they use the black boxes to promote things which they don't have an option to promote within our current graphics. we are building new components within the new playout system which will allow us to give them a controlled environment for promotions, ie no black boxes appearing wherever the producer on the show decides.

Funny how no other channel use this stupid way of promoting things isn`t it? How hard would it be to make the black boxes transluscent? Step away yourselves whom ever you are. My finger for deffinate wont be typing your channel in until I hear some good reviews on here

Would it be possible to give us control over the black boxes ?
Some mainstream TV channels use OSG advertising, but by pressing the back button on the sky remote, removes it from the screen, that way you could have your adds up all the time, without pissing some of us off.

not as easy as you think with the way they put the black boxes on screen, and with alpha channels.

we can't make you watch our shows, that's entirely your decision! we wait to hear from you again once the new graphics are up

Any chance of posting some initial screens of the new graphics? or is it a surprise? Maybe some forum input would help deliver new graphics that will please everyone.

Also any news on the clean webstream and when it will go live? I understand (so could be wrong) that it was used last night for the sexstation web stream. Will it be the same format of just BS1, or will BSXtra and Glamourchase also get webstreams?

Finally, I thought BS were moving to new studios?

We can't show a screenshot of the graphics I'm afraid, it will be a big suprise for everyone when they launch

Going back to the question of how hard to make them transparent, here's the workings.. http://twitter.com/#!/TwistedChaz/status...2905735169 .. we aren't playing with playdoh when we say we're building it from the bottom up.. we (well, Charles) are hard at work on it!

The clean streams for all our channels are in the list of things to do and will be up very soon, we've just got a lot of projects on at the moment, some more exciting for you guys than others. There will be a new stream appearing before the clean show streams, maybe as early as today

sorry, sometimes we read the PMs on our phones in the pub and sometimes they get forgotten about in our drunken state. i'll have a look through now

we are more annoyed at the awful spelling than you guys are, everytime it happens our managing director gets an angry email... maybe our new graphics system needs an autocorrect! i hope the spelling issues will be solved sooner rather than later, otherwise im going to pull my hair out
