An interesting exchange in the chat this morning concerning the amount of gifts sent in that go missing.
I read a remark on Wednesday evening from Spunky 69
about it and another from Fernsboy
recently about having to re-buy and send again. I think there's definately a case here. The SP is this:
Which couldn't be clearer in messge or integrity.
BTW that postcode changed recently, it was W45PY which obviously had to be changed when MI5 moved in next door.
Royal Mail P.O.Boxes work in one of three ways:
We don't know which of these options S66 pay for but if it's the one shown to the left suppose someone collects from the post office then is there somewhere to park? What if there's too much to carry?
If the Royal Mail deliver then I wouldn't expect the address to trouble the postman. A few months ago I walked along their road and the companies' name is clearly displayed on their door so deliveries shouldn't be difficult for any delivery driver.
We've read that the studio isn't where the office is and I'd say that it's just around the corner; I've read that the office isn't open 24/7 so parcels can't be accessed all the time. I'm sure that there is the possibility of theft but I also wonder whether the presenter or some member of staff just bins stuff because they don't care. The truth is we don't know.
If you want to send a presenter something I suggest that you ring her and discuss it. Because things have been lost, I've read that Fernanda
for example has provided a separate address so maybe your favourite might do the same or at least look out for it.
I particularly like seeing the presenter opening gifts live on air, it doesn't happen much. Perhaps there's a regulations issue: suppose she opens it and a vibrator is shown on Sky, that would be a breach.
It could be a transport issue too. Either way the area behind the girl could be covered with cards and flowers etc, especiallly if she's had a birthday.
