I would say you can trace that all the way back to when Boris was Mayor and we have a Commander of the Met Police who clearly is not fit for the role and the Mayor who doesn't seem to be running London as the great city that it should be.

Getting back on subject, 125 backbench MP's are backing a new War Memorial Desecration Bill which will be presented to Parliament on June 23 which aims to make it easier to prosecute those who desecrate war memorials and will carry a 10 year jail sentence, but I would say add on a £50,000 fine as well would be more than enough to make people think twice and also they should include a big enough fine for urinating on them, but it should also ensure any kind of memorial should not be desecrated that way all statues/memorials would have protected status.

WTF??? These are the sort of statues the football fans should be defending more, leave the memorial to security forces if Boris gives that Cressida Dick a stiff talking to and give them the water cannons they need.
