Glad to see that the petition to Legally pardon those convicted in GB for offences of witchcraft. has reached 13,156 signatures.
And by reaching that figure it means that the Government have to respond.

The witchcraft act of 1735 repealed legislation creating offenses for witchcraft and recognised that the belief that people could use demonic magic to harm and murder was not a reality.
Even though people convicted and excuted as witches were innocent, they were never pardoned. The Government are being pushed to right this wrong.
who would be legally responsible for accepting any pardon? any direct descendants or those related to those who were convicted
