Not really... racism is racism it should go both ways history or not, i mean in terms of discrimination and mockery who has been mocked more than fat people thats been going on for centuries yet we don't have protests for fat lives matter....
It's interesting to see Anthony Joshua mentioned above after his little rant suggesting that black people should boycott "white businesses" the other day. Would this be the same Anthony Joshua who accused a rival of being a "disgrace to the superior black race" or -posted some bizarre nonsense on Snapchat suggesting that Robert Mugabe was a victim of a media smear campaign? His manager was left to try and smooth things over by claiming his accounts were hacked. Yeah, right.
Then we have Lewis Hamilton spouting forth pearls of wisdom from his Monte Carlo tax haven, telling us that monuments to people involved in slavery should be pulled down.
Fair enough Lewis, let's do it, statues don't mean a lot to me but don't you drive for Mercedes, who were previously Daimler Benz who used forced labour from Concentration Camps to make vehicles for the Nazis? Isn't one of your personal sponsors Hugo Boss who did a lovely line in uniforms for the Waffen SS & Wehrmacht?
Sort out the real issues like gang violence & the knife crime epidemic & worry about a few old statues later.
John Boyega struck the right tone with his speech imo, it came from the heart and was passionate. It's good that directors and producers are publicly backing him, given his worry about speaking from the heart, but his speech was a balanced one (unlike Joshua's), calling for change, not to boycott this or that, which only creates further division.
Star Wars are getting called out though, I didn't know this, but they actually airbrushed him out of the Chinese posters, so erm, awkward.
