Mainly because he will have changed parties again before they could elect him Big Laugh

You called it right about Jo Swinson & wasn't Ed Davey a regular on the Matthew Wright show?

Nah that was Ed Vasey Tory MP chum of Cameron
Conservative MP & Foreign Office minister Mark Field reacting to a non violemt climate change protestor at The Mansion House speech by pushing her against a pillar, grabbing her by the neck & frog marching her out

Man should resign immediately & charges need to be pressed.

Hunt is his boss, interesting to see what his response will be when he is no doubt asked
Mark Field has been suspended pending an internal investigation by the Cabinet office. He claims that he thought the protestor posed a security threat as she headed past him towards the top table where the Chancellor was speaking. Interesting to know if he would have done the same if it was a burly male intruder going by him rather than a female carrying papers. Perhaps he thought the bundle of leaflets posed a real threat and the woman had a black belt in origami!
There is clear video evidence she assaulted his hand with her neck.

Or it had been a Female Mp taking on a male climate protester would there have been the same outrage NO the same ones moaning will be wanting to give her a medal its some tory laying hands on a women so he has to be in the wrong
there were 40 protestors who invaded the event
The man is in the wrong regardless of his political party, I personally don't care either way that he is a Tory and don't see his actions as being symptomatic of his political ideology, 1 in 3 woman in this country will be victims of domestic violence its clearly not an ideological influenced crime.

There would not have been the same outrage had it been a female MP on a male protestor because it's not the same thing, men and woman have their differences, a female MP attacking a man is like a lightweight boxer fighting a heavyweight. That's not to say that it would be right for her to do it, which is why we have the police who are supposed to act above public opinion.

It's also a lot less likely that such an event would happen as 74% of all violent crime is committed by males in the UK, with a population that is around 49% male and yet 68% of MPs are male

Regardless of which political party he is part of there are some professions (teachers, doctors, police etc) which have to set good examples and surely Government ministers belong to one of those. Slamming the protestor against the pillar was bad enough and, having done so, Mr Field should have realised that she was armed with nothing more than a bunch of leaflets. For him to then grab her by the scruff of the neck and forcibly push her out of the room was nothing more than common assault. It is noticeable that by the time he has done this there were very few other protestors in the room, so the 40 you mentioned were certainly no threat by then.
