I voted around 11am this morning before going to work for half day & I from what I saw I was the only voter there.I was chatting to one of the women who has worked in the same polling station for the past 20 years (& has been there everytime I've voted in those 20 years) for about 10 minutes & not one voter turned up.When I asked her what turnout was like she said it was a little low to which I said to her "at least parties can't blame bad weather for a low turn out".I asked her about the old bring your own biro/marker pen conspiracy theory & she did mention that boxes are sealed & cannot be tampered with (unless someone throws the ballot box away) & using your own pen is fine (otherwise just use the provided pencil really heavy). I just wonder if media has over-amplified these EU Elections thinking turn out is going to be a lot higher than it is.

Considering a little memory loss pops up now & again on this old boy from what I recall on the extra long voting paper I'd say nearly half of the names where either Independents or small parties nobody has heard of.
Mine was bloody long too - all the usual suspects tbh lol only one Independent candidate here used sharpie prn - no chances of them rubbing my vote out.
So, The Equality & Human Rights Commission which was set up by Labour in 2009, is to investigate the same Labour party over allegations of anti-semitism.
The only other party it has investigated (over racism allegations) was those lovely people from the BNP.

Jeremeh's "kinder, gentler politics" is working out well laugh
I see that David Cameron has a new job in the US of A. He's going to chair the advisory board of an artifical intelligence company called Afiniti.

He has the responsibilty to adivse on critical issues to the company as it continues expands in markets around the world.

First critical issue should be 'don't arrange a vote on Brexit and then do a runner if the result doesn't go as you expect'
Story in The Sunday Times of allegations of sexual harassment against senior Corbyn aide David Prescott. The Allegations are spread across many years (93-2017) including forceful and aggressive to female students who refused to sleep with him, harassment of a female MP and defecating on the floor of a woman who refused to sleep with him.

The story reveals that Corbyn's office blocked a bid to have him suspended when the female MP told Corbyn she was harassed by Prescott and referred the claim of the two students. Months after she spoke to Corbyn, Prescott (unsuccessfully) went for selection as an MP and is currently organising campaigning events for The Labour Party for the forthcoming Peterborough by-election.

Prescott, Hopkins, Livingstone. Corbyn protects his allies
David Prescott, son of Jabba the Hull? That Apple didn't fall very far from the tree.
When is Trump going to realise that he not welcome in this country. It's all very well bringing your family with you and avoiding most of the demos that will be around, but you can't avoid it all and you can bet someone will find a way to demonstrate near him. I understand the Trump blimp will be back again(the one with him portrayed as a baby) and a lot of politicians will be distancing themselves from him. At least he won't be afforded the honour of addressing Parliament like Obama was, but then people liked him Big Grin One good thing though, his daughters are very tasty, mind you that was probably more down to his wives. Everyone should still go and see Donald but in silent protest. No flag waving, no cheering or shouting abuse. Just silence.
