I will take a guess at that, my guess is that the last time Rammy called into a show was on the 20th of July 2013 .

Rammy called one of his favourite girls Jade Victoria on his former favourite channel "Bluebird TV" lol, it was Jades last show before retiring from the babe shows .

{edit} Rammy admits to calling Jade on BB by the way .

It's the unavailability of the talent that makes money.

I understand your point, but you're just assuming. It's just as easy to assume that a "superfan" wouldn't just want to talk to these porn stars about "what porn film is better". Also, you could assume that there may be other "superfans" in the queue, who you could assume will queue through any kind of chat for however long it takes to speak to the girl they are a superfan of.

Assumption is the mother of all F-Up's however, it's instilled in all the channels, speak to the queue of callers not just the caller you're talking to. They are told to think about the next person in the call chain. an example would be back in the heyday, i could hit crazy chains with Emily Stupple on a late babe, she would be talking to the caller but also engaging with everyone else in the chain. That's the money, not someone who just wants to talk normal to the babe.

Does that makes sense? Each caller should be treated as an individual however it's not always the case, especially with how accessible the porn stars are outside of the screen. Money is keeping you on the phone for as long as possible, that means killing off a few callers not engaging in sex talk early on.
unless they decide to call back in a few minutes once 'superfan' has gone, and donate another connection fee. This debate will always have two sides, and only the Rammy endorsed call stats will show if s66USA is doing it's job for s66. The fact they have a whole studio for a 5 hour slot suggests it is. Or it suggests that Jamie has gone mad and is actually living at the studio.
(23-06-2014 13:32 )RatedR Wrote: [ -> ]Re: Nes, the queues. It's a fair point and the stacking of calls/connection fees is important. But the fan numbers are in some cases 100x greater than the UK girls on twitter alone, where it's being plugged. Initially there will be floods of calls. I also can't see it lasting much further than a summer fling as I've also mentoned. But that's just my guess.

Fan numbers are a massive thing, social media is the new way to connect to those you wouldn't otherwise have a chance to talk to. However, most hardcore american fans will buy into the girls website or various cam shows where-in there is far more being shown and done than on the TV.

This is the only issue when launching a show with promoted porn stars. They have a fanbase that already interacts with them at Expo's and their webshows, they buy into their product. The UK Girls are unique in the fact most are new to the game and are only accessible via the shows, that is the key USP.
which is why I think the UK shows can last a lot longer than the US shows. The UK shows can bring in new waves of exciting girls every year, and as always live to peoples front rooms, bedrooms and basement computer dungeons. I predicted before the launch that initially the US adventure will make some decent money for s66, but it's staying power is something i'm not certain of, and no one will really know until it's either over or into it's sixth month. I suspect the promise of live every night, already broken, really meant live every night until the end of summer, anyway.

Thanks for the sensible debate by the way, I don't have much more on s66 USA as I'm not into it, so have only flicked it on for a quick look. Although, the potential initial business and the potential crash, does intrigue me.

No worries, i'm not here to insight a flamewar with anyone, i'm just happy to put across my old insider knowledge that may or may not be applicable now. The venture should net them some money, any venture like this should. My point in case goes back to if it was a truly successful idea, Playboy would of done it years ago and continue to if it were successful.

The UK shows will continue to make money as long as the talent is nurtured, its up to the girls if they wish to quit or continue up the chain, some join, take a couple of fat paychecks then bolt to the sunny escapes. Other's will make themselves into a brand and venture into new territories.

Again as a viewer, i'm interested in how long this lasts, if its truly successful, then i wouldn't be shocked to see either of the other big 2 to embrace it.

Yes it does make sense, because you're not telling me anything I don't already know.

You're not covering costs in your posts, which to me is the biggest thing, but that's just my opinion.

I am a caller occasionally, and I'm more bothered about cost than performances while I'm on the call. If it's cheaper to talk to a girl i'm a fan of on the TV than it is to talk to them going further via webcam, then I'm calling the TV channels, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Use Emma Butt as an example, why are her fans calling her on Babestation when they can just do as you say and watch her on the web, or talk to her via webcam? She seems quite busy whenever I see her on TV. Maybe being in the USA might prove to be pointless in the end, but for me there is no argument about using porn stars on these TV channels, it seems to work.

I've already said that if s66usa is a success (I still think it will be and around for a good while yet) I would not be surprised if another babechannel launches their own version (especially either bs or rlc)

Also mr mystery is right regarding the last time i called the babeshows. I did last call on the 20th July 2013. Jade-Victoria who is is one of my fav ever nightbabes was retiring from the babeshows on that night so wanted to call her before she hung up her babeshow g-string. I have called the babeshows on and off before that

Cost is a massive issue, one of which is why channels like XXXPanded have just 1 set and a low pricepoint. Babestation have been in the market for over a decade now, i'm sure yourself or someone else can inform me on how long Elite/R66 have been in the industry also.

Now i'm trying to figure out how to make a post without contradictions. Emma Butt clearly has a large following, BS noticed this and uses this to their advantage. We don't know how much she gets paid for any of the work she does. We don't know if her £per Hour wage equates to what shes bringing in for the company, same can be said for her web shows at home. BS is a large brand though and is synonymous with the entire 900 section of the EPG.

Ask people in passing about any of the shows up there and Babestation will roll off the tongue. Because of this, they can charge the premium they do and get the callers in. Girl's in clubs will joke they want to be a Babestation girl, not a S66/RLC Girl.

To get back to my point. With the way the shows are produced or lack of production on S66, they should of launched the US show at a way cheaper price point and capitalised on maximising inbound calls. Instead they launch a half assed product with a premium price tag with no planning on how to evolve it. I don't know how large the operation is at R66 so i can only judge on what i see on-screen but it's just destitute.

They should be making the porn stars promote the shit out of appearing on screen via their respective facebook/twitter pages days or weeks in advance. Promotion of a new Venture should be HUGE! You don't just launch a channel especially one banking on serious talent with massive fanfare.
