Got what I thought was my annual statement this morning from the Student Loans people, except when I opened it, it was a letter saying that the loan has been written off because it has passed the 25 years expiry mark. I remember reading about that on the form at the time but could never imagine actually reaching it. Just think of all those extra bags of Werther Originals I'll be able to afford now
