Their squad is too big apparently. They have 27 players now that Bale has signed and only a squad size of 25 is allowed, so a couple of players have got to leave.
Some amusing rumours going around tonight, as always when deadline day is here everything goes into a frenzy of rumours and players being spotted at airports...etc Quite funny to laugh at, people just dream most of them up. Wonder if even one could happen though.... bladewave

Kagawa to PSG eek
Mata to Arsenal Surprised
El Sharaawy to Man City bladewave
Suarez to Real Madrid eek
Rooney to Arsenal Bounce
Torres to Liverpool Huh

And this one was the best....... Gareth Barry to Everton (fair enough) and to fill the void......City have bid £28m for Fellaini!!!!! Bounce

You never know, maybe one could come off tomorrow, there's usually a surprise somewhere, but i refuse to believe almost all of these.

So far on Sky Sports 6 hours of Bale talk with a few interuptions to squeeze in 2mins of other moves, sick of hearing about it now..
Its because SkySports News haven't got anything else to talk about lol.
Have to say I'm not overly impressed with the way that Man United have chased targets such as Cesc Fabregas this summer. Given the Arsenal factor and the fact he was at his dream club it was never a likely deal. Hopefully we will at least land Herrera and Fellaini today who can at least provide the creativity that was absent yesterday with both Carrick and Cleverley outplayed. Unfortunately, if we miss all our targets everyone will blame Moyes, who has admittedly come across a bit as though he is dithering.
However, Fergie's retirement coincided with the stepping down of David Gill as chief exec. His replacement, Ed Woodward has a reputation of demanding value for money (a tight arse), which leaves me concerned that United were not prepared to pay the going rate in the current market and so, appear to have lost several targets. Over-inflated, it might be but you have to pay the price that the market dictates, a fact they now seem aware of.
Fellaini had a £23million buyout clause until the end of July. It would be bizarre if we now paid well over that amount to land him.
Looks like Kaka is ReJoining AC milan Wink
Mesut Ozil to Arsenal is done, subject to medical. Goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano has already had a medical and has joined on loan. Arsenal also want Demba Ba and Angel Di Maria, athough time is running out for those deals.
broke on skysports news in past few minutes that man utd are willing to meet the buyout clause (36 million euros) that Herrera has in his contract and Herrera has apparently already agreed terms with manutd. also looks like fellani will be going man utd too
