There were leaking loads of goals last season even in defence I think Moyes has got a tough job on his hands with the squad he is now

Yes improvements do need to be made but they still managed to win the league last season. Defence needs improving for sure. Vidic is becoming injury prone and Rio is not the player he was. There is a need for an experienced, quality CB and Evra needs to be replaced. Rafael came on leaps and bounds last season and will be even better this season.
Midfield is essential too. Not so sure he will go for Fellaini. He has a massive transfer pot now so I would hope that he is looking at world class quality that will give the team an extra dimension.
on sky news this morning that man utd are going for cesc fabregas from Barcelona and have made a bid of £35 million euros
After making the effort to bring him back i highly doubt barca will accept, only a transfer request could change things but still think he would choose to return to us instead of utd if we went in with the same 35mill bid although reports say we got a 25mill buy back clause
sky sports have said just now its £25 million pounds man utd have bid for fabregas. interesting to see if arsenal do decide to go for him as they have first choice for him
I doubt Barcelona will sell Fabregas, especially after just losing Thiago. Although they were dumb enough to mess up the Thiago situation in the first place and lose him for a cut price, so you never know. Would be a great buy though for any Premier League team, imo.

Barcelona and PSG going head to head for Marquinhos of Roma - £30m apparently!! eek

Cavani having medical at PSG. Not sure what the fee is but it's definitely eekeekeek!!!

Man City agree fee for Stevan Jovetic (£25m). http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2892/tran...entina-for

Reports in Spain say tonight City have also agreed a fee for Alvaro Negrado of £20m + add ons. Fee seems a bit steep to me but never mind. http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?...6bih%3D609

I would agree about Fabregas. It might come down to how much United would be prepared to pay. I doubt Barcelona would sell him at £26 million.
City have made a good purchase in Jovetic. He should do really well in the EPL.
Marquinhos is no worth £30m at all, he only manage to get into the corinthians 1st team less 10 times...

If paulinho was 17m Marquinhos should not be value this high, not really see him much really but i would be shock if he did go for 20m never mind 30m
Ok it now looks Rooney wants out so we should at least try bidding for him

he says he has nothing left to prove which is right, time for a fresh start somewhere else

£30m seems high to me as well but i don't really know the player that well but this the fee they reckon. Must be for potential, he's only young still.

Rooney wants to go, lets be honest, it's so obvious. He could of ended all this speculation weeks ago in one statement but he never has, because he wants to go. There's not THAT many clubs he could go to, will be intersting to see where he ends up. I'm going with Chelsea!

That marquinhos guy is young right? So the price may be worth it 4-5 years down the line, anyways big fees attached to young players is no surprise these days, actually it turns out to be worth it at the end as was the case with gotze, 32mill is a bargain.
