Michel Platini has said the summer transfer window is too long and he wants it to be shorter in the future.

Yes!! They should close it the week before the season, it's ridiculous when teams are trying to play and players are trying to leave! Hopefully they do it.

Mnachester United have bid £25m for midfielder Ander Herrera according to the Bilbao President himself.

Also utd bid for De Rossi?? Apparently.

Both bids rejected.

Tottenham has announced the signings of Erik Lamela from AS Roma and Vlad Chiriches from FC Steaua Bucharest, I believe that Erik Lamela is another club record signing Smile.
It's not about numbers though, it's about how YOUR body reacts the older you get. Look at Giggs, his body has held up well the older he has got. Kaka's body ain't holding up too well though! Lol. Each individual is different.

Besides, don't think utd really need a Kaka. They need a Central Midfielder, in my opinion.
Christian Eriksen on the way to Spurs too! Think that will be it then..... maybe.... Lol.
if he had stayed at milan he might have held up better. the medics there are great i mean they had maldini playing till he was over 40
Kaka was finished after the 2010 world cup where he play for us, his career has be full of injuries, would be pointless United signing an injury prone player in his 30's...

Gerrard is getting older but is top of his fitness levels and knows the league and has been at the same team all his career, you can't even compare Gerrards career to Kaka...
I hope the Bale deal falls through and leaves spurs in the s**t!
United do not need Kaka. The only position we really need strengthening is CM. Certainly no point buying someone who is likely to be injured much of the time. While I would prefer us to make a marque signing there is no point buying someone you don't need so not too bothered if we don't sign someone....end of season will determine if the owners should have opened the cheque book. We have good depth in the squad with youngsters like Zaha and Januzaj coming through too.
i think they (spurs) are playing with fire. they're dragging their feet to fuck up any move arsenal will make for the three real madrid players. this is in their interest but not real's. i hope real see what is going on and put their foot down. they really should make the deal go through now or withdraw their bid completely. (no sour grapes here!) Smile
