I read that Bayern have shown interest in him but have not made an offer and the player himself favours a move to Old Trafford. It's the height of the silly season though so whatever is read in the press has to be taken lightly until they are seen signing the paperwork.

Fully agree. Talented young full back, Luke Shaw has apparently decided to remain at Southampton rather than move to bigger clubs. With gifted players such as Ramirez and Llalana also opting to stay, they could well be a top ten team this season.

David Moyes is decidedly growing on me. It is a bit of a joke really this whole Wayne Rooney story. I know people blab on and on about how they like the clubs showing there intent that no 1 is bigger than the club it's self n all that shit... But FFS! this is a player who asked for a 2nd time to leave the CLUB.
