agree about kaka and his injuries, but i do think people stereotype too much when a player gets past 30, there are plenty of good players over 30, also a lot of youngsters are overrated and they don't fulfil their potential, i hope it works out for zaha at united

we will see if eto'o does well at chelsea
I hope Madrid withdraw and show Spurs how stupid they are being, Bale won't make any difference to their team anyway... Ronaldo is the top player there and always will be.

(no sour grapes here!) Smile

You actually got a point lol, may sound stupid but perhaps spurs are getting a kick out of wrecking our chances of getting their players, that's if there is a genuine interest.

Spurs are taking the piss though, they got lamela in and still wanna make them wait, Madrid should indeed pull out as their squad is more than capable of a league title and CL assault without bale

i wasn't joking, that's exactly why spurs are holding things up. we have shown genuine interest in three real players but real won't entertain selling them untill the bale deal is done. i just hope real see what spurs are at and force them to either sell or jog on, they're to big a club to be used like this Smile

It's not about that for Florentino Perez. What you say is far too logical for him to actually do. Lol. After Barca signed Neymar, Madrid MUST now make a big signing themselves. No if's or but's. They CANNOT be outdone. This is Florentino logic. His mission all summer was get Bale, get Bale, get Bale. He's obsessed. He will wait until the final hours of the window if that's what it takes to get Bale because in his mind he is the answer to Neymar. Nobody else. Bale is the one!

These are not my views, don't shoot me! Smile

The same thought did cross my mind Smile but if they are doing this it could seriously backfire on Spurs. Real could pull out leaving Spurs with a lot of money to find for all the summer purchases. Other clubs may also be reluctant to deal with them in future too.
Oh yh forgot about Perez wanting a marquee signing to combat barca's one
Personally i don't blame Spurs for holding up the deal as there in there right to get the best deal possibly, secondly Real weren't actually being professional in there dealings in getting Bale, making up bullshit stories that the deal was done. We all know that there good at turning players heads when they want someone and of course the greedy agents and with the way Bale been acting totally unprofessional you look at Rooney the guy just got on with it and trained like a professional Bale never used to be like that in the past till his head turned. As good as Bale is has not worth 85 Million plus and Madrid are dumb enough to wanna pay that kind of money then good luck to them. They just wanna make a signing because Barca have signed Neymer so don't wanna be upstaged. As for Spurs making all these signings without selling Bale they can actually afford to spend that kind of money and keep Bale if they wanted to, i won't bore people with details as how they can but bare in mind the head guy at Spurs is a Billionaire, we've sold a few players off, being europe, Sky and behind the scenes Levy been doing different deals with certain companies i.e AIA, EA and there's many more. It just means it they sell Bale that they'll get most of the money back.

You need to remember it was not Madrid that said the deal was done, was a newspaper, Madrid did not Officially announce anything...

I just think Spurs are playing silly games now with the money and winding madrid up and Levy squeezing every last bit of money could cost spurs the deal and leave them looking stupid and in a lot of debt....

Levy should worry about Spurs buisness and not Holding Arsenals deals up..
But Levy knows that Perez will not walk away. Not from Bale, he's obsessed with him. Levy knows he can do whatever he likes and Perez will just wait and wait and wait until Levy says so.

Don't forget also that Madrid have a lot of Spanish papers (as do Barca) in their pocket. They write what they tell them to write. They use it as a weapon.
