Where have you 'heard' this? Without citing a credible source this is just another rumour.

So it looks like a Sky problem, maybe Bangbabes will be in line for compensation.

yep does now seem it was a sky technical problem after all and therefore bang should get compensation for loss of earnings

mancub is in reguar contact with some of the bang presenters so what he says is generally true

That may be true, and in fact I'm sure it is true, but even if Sky can't refuse to allow a station to be broadcast, they CAN refuse to allow a station onto the EPG, which is really what we're talking about here. My feeling is that people are not such big crackpots as you make out admiral and Sky have pulled Bang Babes from the EPG.
If all the trouble is just a Sky problem then why is Bangbabes/ The Pad also not being shown on freeview ? the freeview EPG is still intact and Bangbabes was shown for a few seconds this morning before disappearing again , The Earlybird show on freeview is the Sky 902 feed and Bangbabes on freeview some times shows feed from all the Sky channels so freeview should be unaffected if it is just a Sky technical problem relating to Sky channels 912 and 959 .

Interesting comments from the Digital Spy forum, make of it what you will:

"Ofcom recently introduced new regulations for adult channels and stated that only PartyLand (on Freeview) would be affected because all the others were licensed elsewhere in the EU. It can be looked up on the Ofcom website. The Freeview Bang Media service ADULT TMTV has been affected by this current problem.

A UK channel can be licensed in the Netherlands and most of the adult channels are. The Bang empire like others is not just composed of one company. They use several in different territories for tax and licensing efficiency. So the UK licensed company may source its material from a Dutch company which does the satellite uplink from Dutch studios for example.

I do not know why Bang Media are having trouble broadcasting their channels but I have outlined a possible reason why. If their licence is issued by Ofcom then it can be revoked by Ofcom. If the licence is issued elsewhere then it cannot be revoked directly by Ofcom and other means would be used to shut down their services.

Why do you think that Bang are unable to broadcast on the various EPGs? Hint:- look at their compliance record in the Broadcasting Bulletins. Last week they had an ASA ruling against them for running a post watershed advert at 7.20am on Freeview. Even after the £150,000 fine, Bang Media continued to rack up Broadcasting Code breaches."
bang do keep shooting themselves in the foot and give ofcom the perfect excuse to attack them, but whatever the reason it seems that the channels will be back today or tomorrow as mancub is generally accurate with info
I'm starting to think there is a conspiracy afoot and I wondering what sources of information can be trusted. Information from mancub received in turn from a presenter is not necessarily reliable, as the presenter will only know what Bang Babes have told her. The truth is out there somewhere and I suspect admin has known the whole story all along but has said very little so far, so he may be in cahoots with Bang Babes to 'manage' the story or there may be something preventing him from being more forthcoming. Where are Woodward and Bernstein when you need them? Looking at the number of visitors to the forum yesterday it looks like 'Bang Gate' is gripping the nation. Important
sure is, sod what's going on in the world, the most important news is the situation at bangbabes lol
