Jon Rahm staged a remarkable final round to overhaul 3rd round leader Collin Morikawa to win the Tournament of Champions event on the PGA Tour in Hawaii.

Morikawa had a 6 stroke lead over 2nd place at the end of round 3 and a 7 stroke lead over the Spaniard. However a 72 from the American combined with a stunning round of 63 from Rahm turned the tables to seal the title by 2 shots.
Rahm maintained his superb form with a one stroke win in the American Express tournament in California finishing on -27.
Rory McIlroy is into the semi finals of the WGC Matchplay tournament in Austin, Texas. He won his group then beat Lucas Herbert 2 up before a belting quarter final against Xander Schauffele in which a birdie on the 18th sealed victory.

World number one Scottie Scheffler is also still in the hunt for victory however and is into the semi final of the opposite side of the draw.
As it happened both Scheffler and McIlroy lost their semi final matches in extra play off holes.

It will be Sam Burns v Cameron Young in the final.
Sam Burns is the champion after thrashing Cameron Young 6&5.

McIlroy won the 3rd place playoff 2&1 against Scheffler.
Something really needs to be done about slow play. Some of what I saw throughout the Masters was an embarrassment to the game and a real turn off.
Some players really are totally self centred and need to give their heads a wobble.

FFS get on with it.
Final round of the RBC Heritage tournament this evening on the PGA tour.
US Open champion Matt Fitzpatrick leads going into round 4 after a sensational third round of 63 left him on -14 overall.
One shot clear of slowcoach Patrick Cantlay, two clear of Jordan Spieth and three clear of fellow Englishman Tommy Fleetwood.
^^ One thing which won't help Matt is being in the final group with the slow Cantlay & the equally slow Spieth, Fitzpatrick is one of the quickest players on tour.
This is going down to the wire, like a classic boxing match with punch & counter punch.
Aaaaaagggghhhhhh.
Golden chance missed at 17 Sad.
