Oh and a new brolly just in case we get rain at wembley Big Laugh

Could said Brolly make an appearance at Wembley for "Wally with a Brolly Mk II?" It looks like the game could be quite a mud - fest if it stays raining!!
It's lashing it down at Wembley and there's not a brolly in sight..

Steve's learning, he's just getting soaked Smile
QPR down to ten men at 0-0.

Edit: A late late Bobby Zamora goal after a half hour rearguard action seals a return to the Premier League for QPR.
Well I missed most of the First Half due to the small inconvenience that I was at work but I was able to see the 2nd half in its entirety (whilst still at work Rolleyes Smart Phones that's what they're there for) Smile

Ok so what can I say, first off commiserations to Derby County. How can I put this, daylight robbery springs to mind, for them to dominate the second half and to create so many chances only to lose to QPR's only shot on target to my knowledge just goes to prove what a cruel game this is. At one point The Rams had 4 corner kicks in a row as they were trying desperately to get that breakthrough, that rub of the green that just wouldn't come off.

I have a soft spot for Derby as my brother still has a house down there as he used to work there and would regularly attend the matches so I was routing for them to create the magic that could have won it but it was just one of those days, I felt so sorry for the club and the supporters to lose in such a sickening manner. The QPR keeper just so happened to have a blinder of a match, one defensive mistake in the Derby defence the entire game to be punished so brutally.

One thing that never went unnoticed was the true sportsmanship shown by the players and the supporters of Derby County at the end of the match, they could so easily have been fuelled by anger and resentment but they never, they just accepted that it wasn't to be their day. Derby were by far the best team on the park today but ultimately it's all about the ball crossing the line.
kinda happy after way Derby got rid of Nigel Clough that they didn't go up although they dominated both before and after the sending off but didn't their chances and QPRvmade the most of theirs
thought there was a roof on Wembley why didn't they use it?
you got promoted why do you give a shit about the roof?

The roof was closed as usual, but it doesn't cover the pitch. It's designed to provide cover for the spectators.
To say I'm gutted is an understatement , feel pretty shit right now but after dominating the game we still didn't score and one error has proved so costly !

It's a shame cos I still believe this young team would have held their own next year. ButI'm convinced these players will learn a harsh lesson and next yeah will be their time.

Champs next season , they can only get better, positive thinking u Rams !

And congrats to QPR of course !
