Well done Reading beating Big Sam's hoof ball team, Reading could still catch Southampton to win the championship, as they are only two points behind. The only thing that might stop Reading is that they have tougher fixtures than Southampton in the last few games
im hoping blackpool get promoted (ian holloway fan) and if they carry on playing like they did today they should be fine.

I would take second place no problem I just want automatic promotion, the play offs havent been kind to us
It is game on in the Championship. Fair play to the Reading scum bags Wink They gave the pikeys a good going over today and fully deserved the win. They've been out of this world since the turn of the year and the recent form is exceptional. If only you managed to beat Posh a few games back you'd be a point clear.
We get into a good position in the league, then our players pull a stunt like that yesterday annoyed It's so bloody frustrating Sad
Paulie - Lucky for you Crewe dropped points yesterday to Northampton so you still got a bit of daylight. Swindon and Shrews both dropped points and drew, so it isn't all doom and gloom! We couldn't hang onto our 1-0 lead over the Shrews, who had a man sent off! That's frustrating. (Although a draw was justified)

I think Oxford will do enough still.
A good week for Portsmouth! We lose 1-5 at home Sad and our former chief executive Peter Storrie admits that one of our previous owners of recent times -- Ali Al-Faraj -- may not have even existed. Rolleyes
And as it's such a weekend of misery for everyone in this thread Wink I'll add my bit. We lost 3-0 at home to bloody Forest. As we're stuck in mid-table with no hope of the play-offs and no fear of relegation, there's a danger we're just going to switch off for the rest of the season, especially as we've played all our rivals already. So I'm expecting a few more tonkings like yesterday's Sad
aaron, that is like sticking the knife if and twisting it 720 degrees.

eagle_si, hopefully he'll give some of the younger lads a chance then. I've experienced the mid-table blues with only a handful of games to go one to many times. It's boring, dull and nothing to shout about. But if younger youth prospects are brought in they have a hunger to want to play and to prove themselves. Gives you something to be excited about as well.
