Good that the two best teams in the Conference both went up together.
Luton and Cambridge both deserved it Smile.
agree, but they came a distant 2nd we finished 19 points above themSmile
Looks like the Luton VS Stevenage derbies will be tasty next season as well Camb Utd vs Stevenage would be tasty too.
Gearing up for the championship play off final on Saturday, going to be tough to beat Derby.
Am I right in thinking at one time the championship playoff final used to be played on as bank holiday Monday?
Firstly yes the Championship play off final used to be consistently played last out the three on the Bank Holiday Monday
Only very recently has the order changed around.

Three very interesting play off finals this weekend.
As a Wolves fan the one that interests me the most is Leyton Orient v Rotherham.
Rotherham were definitely the most entertaining and forward thinking team my lot played in the season just gone
Wolves played out a 3-3 draw and a 6-4 win against them in a couple of goalfests.
Leyton Orient led the way for a long while in the first half of the season before the limited squad size eventually caught up with them as my lot reeled them in along with Brentford.
Hard game to call and it could go all the way to penalties.
Both managers have done a terrific job.

Burton Albion v Fleetwood Town is one where Fleetwood will possibly start favourites but Burton are big game masters so it would not surprise me if they cause an upset.

Derby v QPR eek. Crumbs what a humdinger Surprised.
McLaren v Redknapp and 3rd v 4th.
Derby blew Brighton away in their semi while QPR showed great character in battling past Wigan from a goal down in the decisive second leg.
In many ways the pressure is more on QPR with such an expensively assembled squad but having Harry in charge will imo keep the players calm.
I think QPR will be fully aware of the obvious attacking threat Derby will pose but whether they will be able to withstand it I don't know.
Derby are on fire at present.
A very tough one to call and I think the team that plays the match rather than the occasion will win.

That's how see it snookered. But I'm sure the pitch will stand up to the rigours of three games pretty well too.
Derby county vs QPR

This is going to be a great game ,both sides will play attacking football and there should be plenty of goals !

Our boys have been fantastic under Mclaren this year top scorers in the league with 85 goals and play neat attractive passing football.

One win each for both this term and this will be a close game but I'm backing our boys as the occasion will not get to them despite their lack of wembley experience.

Trust me our boys are focused and if we play anything like we did against Brighton, I'm confident of victory !

As ever with a wembley final it will be joy for the winners and despair for the losing side, but good luck to both and let's hope for a great game !

Come on you Rams

Let's hope being back at Wembley doesn't bring back too many personal bad memories for the 'Wally with the brolly'!!!
Let's hope that Derby win.
