nice start for us winning 2-1 over the owls!! I'd like to think we can go back up this year but on the basis of how we played last season but it'll probably be a few years before we go back up. If we did, I'd prefer us to up as runners up rather than champions. We need to be a little more consistent at the back this season and not give away too many silly goals. I'm surprised Remy even stayed. If I'm honest our team has enough talent in it to go back up.

After a shaky start to the season Portsmouth have gone 5 matches without defeat in League 2 and have risen to 16th in the table. Surprisingly we're only 6 pts away from a play off position and only 9 pts away from the top of the table.

You're playing the mighty Wimbledon this week, aaron. Well not so mightly as we've only won 1 in the last 8 matches and only scored 6 goals in that time, though we won at Rochdale in our last league match who were close to the top of the table.

10 years ago we were in the Premier Leauge and you were in the United Counties League, meaning that you were 8 levels below us. Now we're in the same division.

That's true, but when AFC Wimbledon was formed we had to start 7 leagues below where we were at the time. You went bust but at least you've only been relegated 3 times since then, if you see what I mean. To put it another way, it's not long since we were in the Premier League too!

OK I concede that we were both in the Premier League not so long ago and are now meeting 3 levels lower. You're right. My point is still valid though, that 10 years ago we were 8 levels above you and now meet on equal terms! We're even right next to each other in the table, 15th and 16th.

Not anymore aaron, after we demolished you 4-0 yesterday! We went up 6 places in the table on the back of that result. It shows you how tight this league is. It was a much needed result for us, after gaining only a draw and having 3 defeats from the last 4 home matches.

Ouch! Losing 4-0 to a team who haven't been in the best of form.

I was more relieved than anything! Although amazingly we're only 2 pts from the play off positions now. It's such a close league with only 5 pts separating the entire top half of the table.
