In a truly shocking development Portsmouth have now won 4 games in a row. It just goes to show that sacking the manager can really work, even if the short term. After 4 wins in 27 matches we appointed a new manager who has now won 4 out of 4. An amazing improvement. Cool
Through very gritted teeth have to say well done to Burnley on being promoted
Thanks to a 3-1 win at Leyton Orient and Brentford's draw at MK Dons the League One title has now been won and Wolves will be promoted as Champions.
By far the best way to go up imo.
Next target to surpass the 100 point mark.
But for now a glass of the old bubbly is in order Wink.
Fantastic achievement for Burnley getting promoted with such a small squad and one of the smallest budgets in the Championship. Good quality coaching and great team spirit have worked wonders for them. Hope they can strengthen the squad in the summer and make a good go at staying in the Premier League next season. Really hope they don't end up struggling for a few months then sacking the manager and undoing all the good work. Sometimes promotion can be a poison chalice and that would be a real shame. Sean Dyche seems to be a very talented young manager and I hope he gets his chance in the top division for the entirety of next season come what may.
Yep, job done and sealed. Now let's get the extra gloss by getting to 102 points which would be a new record.

After that - it's over to Steve Morgan again. He made a right mess of the club. Kenny Jackett was brought in and his experience of negotiating League One plus the excellent work in both the transfer market and restoring the positive morale of the team has bailed Morgan out. Right now, the bonds are all there again between the supporters and the club. It's over to Morgan again now to make sure that investment is provided in the right places (ie: not more new stands or houses Wink ) so that we can stabilize in the championship.

We're back on track again. Don't fuck it up again Morgan! Wink

I'm pleased Burnley are back up. You've had a few ex - Wolves boys from us. So we can take some back handed credit there. Wink

Just kidding - but seriously, I agree that Dyche is a good young manager with some great ideas. I look forward to seeing them on Football First and Match Of The Day on Saturday evenings. Smile
98 points and 101 goals for us now, the next target is to surpass 100 points and break our clean sheet record, one game left to do just that
last day of season 2moro i love all the 12:15 kickoffs was cracking last season

trying to work out what we need to do and reading and brighton have to lose by just hope we can keep a clean sheet but i just know we will fuck it up in end of injury time like we have done a lot this season

still if we dont make a playoff this year still been an ok season compared to the last 3 and we have a great young team just need to learn and i reckon we will be contenders next season
blackburn need to win 4-0, hope reading lose 3-0 and hope brighton lose to make the playoffs
Would be nice for Wolves to end the season on a high by beating Carlisle and ending up on 103 points.
Next season is where the real hard work starts in the Championship.
