Yeah it was in the chart for a while I seem to recall. At the time it was quite good, the clever use of the voiceovers and the footage used.
Your last post in Images Carl, I would have run a mile from-one of those I think was put in my hood and scared the shit out of me-it was a spent one but ever since I had a pathological fear and hated of them-and THAT picture brought it all back! Cheers mate Smile

Brought a memory back for me as well.

I've already mentioned leaving a lit banger on a neighbour's window sill. There was another time me and a few other lads went into a farmers field with a few bangers, and decided to see what would happen if we stuck a banger in the middle of a cowpat..

The experiment didnt end well...four or five of us walking over a mile home splattered in cowpat...

Yes I was (1st Coedpoeth Cub Scout pack)...did the bob a job...saluting Akela...having singsongs round the campfire... before moving up to Scouts and having to wear a ridiculous beret which gave rise to numerous rollickings for doing Frank Spencer impressions...
I made Bronze Arrow and was working towards my Silver. I still have the manual that we were given, somehow never threw it away!

I was thinking about cinemas a few days ago and I remember when you went to a cinema to see a film you used to get a cartoon first, then a travelogue or some sort of short about watches from Switzerland, and then the trailers/adverts-envariably from Pearl & Dean introduced by that famous tune 'Asteroid' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCo1Ffn9_u8 and then the main feature. Sometimes the usherette would come round before the film with her tray of ice cream delights. Remember those wooden spoons you got with the ice cream tubs-I never knew which way up it went because it looked the same either way. Also the see-thru orange juice containers with straws and/or going out to the foyer for a hotdog or something else. Halcyon days
When I was young and there used to the new car number plates released every August I used to have a lot of fun when out with my Dad, spotting them because people used to be proud of their new cars or big posers-I suppose today some people are more likely to shout "Eddie Stobart" (the well known and well loved haulage firm) as their lorries appear on the roads of Britain and incidentally they have a massive following on social media.
