Must be a typo from HLO.
More likely to be
Wolves 0-88 Arsenal
Ok just the 86 goals out then
Firstly a big thanks to Reg for getting the scores & tables up during a busy period, it's greatly appreciated.
I can hardly wait to see how far I've slipped each week.
Secondly well played to SecretAgent & Skyline for achieving joint top score, in a tough set of fixtures. It looked straight forward enough at first glance, but then we had so many shock results.
I think I've found my level now, although plenty of time yet for others to pass me. I shall endeavour to battle on to the very end, & then give myself a right good talking to in the off season, By my own standards I've been below par, which would be fine if it was Golf, but this is Football.
I see HLO went for Wolves to beat Manchester City 6-0 , you sure that wasn't mean't to be the other way around lol.
Boomer would you look at that, your team gave you a loss and just the play-offs whereas mine gave you a correct joker...congrats
^^ Couldn't buy a joker all season & The Arse deliver for me.
Leeds might be a bit shit,
but I'm loyal,
You should be supporting Cov who are even shitter,
& not some London club.
There were 4 correct jokers in the previous round too. The joker success seems to come in phases - we'll have three or four barren weeks then a few weeks on the spin where people land some good ones, often on an unexpected fixture.
An exciting time in the season with the premier league on the home stretch and the playoffs starting so we get to see who is coming up. It's usually the time when we see some weird scores, although this season's had it's fair share (and then some) already.
Thanks for sticking with it guys. I'll definitely be posting the results and table for these two rounds Tuesday afternoon, probably around 2pm, depending what time I'm back from work, plus the next set of fixtures.
Well there was 6 goals in the City and Wolves game anyway.
