Many thanks for the congratulations folks it is truly appreciated & I'm over the moon to come out top on what has been a long & eventful season. Is there a winning formula to getting predictions right week in week out,in a word no luck only gets you so far & to quote the well-known phrase from the legend Jimmy Greaves "football is a funny old game!" & the element of unpredictability & surprise results can at times make either geniuses or fools of us all.But making predictions every week soon becomes a fine-art & it wasn't until somehow I was top of the table before Xmas that I felt a huge sense of pressure on my shoulders with the competitive streak in me coming out & it seemed to work in the end (somehow).

Although I managed to come out top come the end of the season the real winner(s) on competitions like these are the person(s) who run these such competitions that require hours & hours of preparation, setting out & data gathering etc.A big thank you to Snookered for dedicating the hours in expertly running the competition this season & making it all possible. Thank youWink.
Is there a thread for the new season?

I heartily agree mate. I would say that aside from the forum awards run by various members, the awards themselves, the soccer prediction thread must be the only other single biggest thread on the forum.
there you go reg. Smile
Is Defending Champion Jack The Nipper not defending his title? that's surprising.

While i have been running the WWE prediction thread i have been trying to make that big all though it probably won't happen i have been encouraging people to run it and hoping it gets run every season trying different rules all that kind of thing like you guys do on the Premier League Prediction Thread.

All that a side this is why i love this forum and care about it because of all the things you can do the awards which mite not mean a lot to a lot of people but it does to me i like to make sure i pick the right babe to win the awards instead of just going for my favorite babes like most people do i go by performance's year by year and the Prediction Threads are great to.

I swear i never get bored of this forum there is always something fun to do.

Yes very surprising. Maybe he and others who have been regular participants in the past will return in the next round. Baffling to be honest, not sure what else to say or do.
Damn it i was going to go for Leicester 2-1 against Sheff Utd but i didn't know which way to go that is a couple points lost points that you need at the start of the season.
This is probably a bit of a stupid question because i am sure lots of players haven't finished bottom of the league but is there anyone that hasn't finished bottom of the league i haven't thank god.

Not to be to cocky but i do see my self as a quality type player just haven't got any where close to fighting for the title but i have been in the top 10 most of the time.

A first successful joker, and the only one in the round, was achieved by Kingsmind. The Special Juans has 54 points and is now the overall leader at the top of the standings by just two points.

Oh yeah Regenerated i completely forget i got the joker right i knew i done the joker but i forgot who i did it on i knew i got the Chelsea and Liverpool game right anyway.

Anyway thanks for reminding me Regenerated.
