Week 1 of the 23/24 season was quite a high scoring affair. I consider 8 points per week as a good benchmark, with most players there or there abouts. The fixtures looked straightforward, but week 2 poses far more questions, & I expect the overall points to reflect that.
I'm still as shite as ever laugh.

Thankfully I am rather better at fantasy football Wink.
Just wondering after checking the table i see it says Regenerated can not win , is that a new rule you have invented that who ever runs it can not win?.
I just prefer to be host and allow other players to try to win it. At the same time I wanted to have a go at predicting myself, just to find other ways to keep the mind active.

It's not a set in stone rule, it's just my own preference. I just wouldn't feel comfortable if I won my own competition. Other competition hosts can run things how they want.
Fair Enough Regenerated.

You know in many ways it's a bit like these Spanish or German B Teams that can't get promoted if they finish in a automatic spot lol.

But as i say fair enough Regenerated.

And now Luton are back in the Premier League , in a strange way you called it.
I am really enjoying playing in this again even know it has only been a week lol but seriously i actually am , i think everyone needs a break to refresh things.

This speaks so much about the man.ImportantSmile I would have no issue with Reg playing a full part & winning his own comp, I expect we all have the same view.
Massive respect for seeing it another way, some people just have more integrity than others. Saying that everything is transparent in the way this comp is run, it would be impossible to cheat. Mistakes can & do happen, & I always check my own points each week as I'm sure most do, that way we can all help Reg to ensure things run smoothly.
A really bad analogy would be Trump running for the presidency & allowing him to count his own votes.

I also echo Kingsmind, so good to be playing this again. After being off-grid for 5 weeks I was, & in many ways questioning if I needed any sort of on-line life, but this comp & the banter on here was one good reason to stay involved.

That's probably what he would do. Bounce Bounce

If Trump entered this comp he would no doubt claim entitlement to submit predictions after the matches rather than before and claim that any attempt to stop him doing so would be a Democrat conspiracy to stop him winning.
I can just hear him now.
"Time to make predictions great again. Those that try to stop me are anti prediction and pro conspiracy" Rolleyeslaugh.

In all seriousness though even though I am rubbish at this predictions lark it is fun to do and Reg runs it impeccably which makes me more inclined to participate.
