I wanted West Ham to do well against Chelsea, but if anyone had predicted West Ham would win 3-1 I would have dismissed it as too far-fetched
Regenerated are you planning on doing a Roll Of Honor of previous winners , it's been done for the Babeshows Awards for years and even the WWE Predictions now and the AEW Predictions i think.

So what do you think?.
No I won't be, sorry.

I feel I've posted enough thanks and congratulations posts now. Also every previous winner has been congratulated both in the final post of the winning thread and in the first few posts of the next one. I've stated and continue to state many times how appreciative I am for all support and contributions.

All the previous threads are still viewable so everyone can feel free to discuss previous winners performances. I'm focusing on the here and now.

Thanks.
A shame would be nice to see them recognised.

Would be nice to see me appear on the Roll Of Honor of something so hopefully i win the AEW Prediction Thread this year.

But your choice Regenerated you are running it.

And you are doing a great job so keep up the good work.
They are recognised, I thought I'd just made that point.
I've just had a look through the prediction threads.
I believe that Captain Vimes started it all off in 2010.

I consider 8 points per week as a good benchmark, with most players there or there abouts. The fixtures looked straightforward, but week 2 poses far more questions, & I expect the overall points to reflect that.

Personally with 6 correct results from 9 matches (Luton v Burnley postponed) it was an ok week 2, fine margins, if Bournemouth don't get that early goal against Liverpool, I'm on 11 points, & a great week.

Despite predicting a tricky set of fixtures, the league in general did a great job. Te correct results compared well with week 1. (108) & week 2. (107) considering haing a game less to predict on.
The points drop-off was significant when it came to correct results, with 33 in week 1. & just 15 in week 2.
Week 2. had 2 jokers, but amazingly the only joker in week 1. was predicted by Stemmw, who has followed it up in week 2 with another. That's an impressive start to the comp, & deserving to top the League.
Yes I have to say two jokers out of two is impressive. Well done Stemmw.

Think overall it's been a good start. I think the matches are even more challenging to predict this year due to the vast differences (on paper at least) in financial resources across many of the 20 teams. Lots of potential David Vs Goliath fixtures - and that's a good thing for a competitive game.
I see me and Charlemagne have gone for the same score and the same joker that's not very often it happens is it?.
Yeah should of went for my original joker which was Brentford Vs Crystal Palace but oh well.
