Well that was a waste of 90 minutes - Wish I'd done something different like watching some paint dry somewhere!
Agreed it was a terrible game but what stood out the most was the England players' poor first touch; they seemed incapable of taking a ball down and then playing it on or moving with it. This was most noticeable when Rooney should have been clear on goal but his first touch put the ball five yards in front of him. Compare this to the first touch of all the players on show in the Champions League final last night and their ability to control even poor balls, and it's frightening. Yes I know I'm comparing a meaningless friendly with a highly competitive match but that shouldn't affect the ability of players to control a ball. If anything with less pressure on them they should have shown better composure. It's very worrying that our technique is so obviously inferior to that of other nationalities.

Hasn't that been England's error for many years?

(Aside from the detrimental effect of making national players million-pound-salary-and-contract-hungry rather than goal hungry, but I digress)
Half time score Slovenia 1-0 England.

Annoying were playing pretty well had 61% possesion but not bloody making most of it then back four fucked up as usual
Not much good having so much possession if we're not getting enough players into the box to capitalise on it though.
Great equalizer from Jack Wilshere.
It's Wilshere again to give England a 2-1 lead.
2-2...hang on 3-2 Rooney for England lol
