A lot if Russian Athletes who have never failed a drugs test but who were blanket banned from last years Olympics and only allowed to compete in World Championships by submitting to an enhanced drugs testing programme will no doubt wonder why the likes of Justin Gatlin and others are still allowed to compete despite failing drug tests and serving drug bans
I see there is a war of words between Issac Makwala and the IAAF after he was not allowed to compete after he complained of feeling sick in a hotel where a suspected norovirus outbreak had originated.
I see that Katherina Johnson Thompson has qualified for the final of the high jump.
If she had made that height in the heptathalon, she'd have one of the podium spots

I would not be surprised if Russia eventually sues IAAF over this very issue thry probably would accuse IAAF of double standards
