On his day he can be good but Miller is basically fucking useless! I wouldn't expect him to get into the top eight to throw again as he more than likely to foul out. Thiam was third tonight in the Diamond League(Brussels-Ivo Van Damme Memorial to give it it's proper name) high jump and looked very good. Johnson-Thompson was third in the long jump but it is probably going to be Thiam's title to lose in Doha because Johnson-Thompson's main let down are her shot and javelin and that is where she needs to improve if she wants any chance of a gold medal.

i would say best Katerina has to also improve performance on her first day overall to be challenging and def think her shot is her weakest event. If she can put it together on the first day, I'd would silver is possible but it would be wonderful to see her get a surprise gold. Dinah has to be focused to get gold and she has had very few losses this season or run very few bad races
Dina won comfortably in Brussels on Friday. Best chance of a gold now Shauna Miller-Uibo is concentrating on the 400m. Katerina has a chance but must improve on the shot and javelin. Jumped well in the long jump and can do well in the high jump as well but as I said Thiam is the favourite, but anything can happen-we will see.
I don't want to predict any golds but I reckon we'll get medals from DAS, KJT, Laura Muir and both short relays.
Sticking your neck early already milf?

Yes, but it's difficult to predict exactly what will happen, it's been a much longer season than usual for most athletes and I'm betting that more than a few of the big names won't have held their form.
It should be a great championships with many surprises.
I believe it is a either a 74 or 77 strong GB squad in Qatar? which is correct?
One thing I DON'T want to see is that fucking double cheat cunt Gatlin's smug face on top of the 100m podium definitely a face i want to smash in for fucking cheating clean natural sprinting talent out of gold medals!!

Some of the all blacks rugby teams especially the 95 team basically broke all records, beat all comers home and Away but failed to win the world cup so will never be rated with the very best even though they revolutionised the way rugby was played. Same with the Dutch football teams of the 70s and the Hungarian football teams of the 50s.
I remember Cavendish was seen as being the dead cert for gold in the road race at the 2012 Olympics. Went wrong somewhat.

I Remember Lendl and Roswell winning all there is to win at tennis except Wimbledon and thus having their greatness overlooked. Sport can be a cruel business at times.

I agree, sport is cruel at the best of times. Think of the boxing greats we've had at most weights who never won a world title and possibly Olympic titles, but won European, and Commonwealth titles though.
Most of Team GBs medal prospects are with the ladies aside from relays.
The action kicks off later today.
