with Dina in the final of 200m final I would stick my neck out and say this might be our only other individual medal chane from these championships. Then our best medal hopes lie with our relay squads, especially on the sprint relay side of things. And as far individual performances go there have been several that are notable, but I think a lot depends on how those who performed in Doha train up over the winter month and perform indoors well to improve on from Doha to get to a standard makes the qualifying Olympic marks easy to achieve, but at the same time UK Athletics may have to lower gold medal hopes a little for Tokyo.
KJT gets underway in the heptathlon today, surely she is another good medal chance.
Encouraging start to the heptathlon for KJT. A PB of 13.09 seconds in the 100m hurdles to gain 1111 points Smile.

Elsewhere Sophie McKinna has set a PB of 18.61m to qualify for the shot put final.
Haas the class of 2019 performed to expectations?
A solid high jump of 1.95m from KJT.
And more significantly a big PB in the shot put of 13.86m.
Encouraging signs continue Smile.
She has shown that she learned a lot when Jess was competing and I feel now she has to step out of Jess's shadow and deliver

Can Dina deliver Team GB's second medal?
I don't know if KJT has to break her 200m PB or not to over take Thiam or not
23.09 I think she eased off near the finish and I think she could easily 22.7 if kept going. She was over a second ahead of her the others in her heat and ends with a 96pt lead end of Day 1 which equates to a 32cm advantage in long jump
