I'm just wondering if we will even know what format it is when the channel is up and running. I can't help thinking that promotional statements made on Babestation about Babestation X are going to be vague and confusing, as in making vague promises about what's on the show which viewers won't be sure how to interpret.
Since the freeview channel change for the adult section has been put back a month, what's the position now regarding the launch date of the new channel? I'm guessing they won't put that back a month?

No, I don't think it's feasible. The promos for Babestation X have been showing for 3 weeks already, so we must be close to launch by now. It would be way too ridiculous to keep on showing those promos for another month. Personally I'd be very surprised if the new channel doesn't get launched within the next week.

Agreed, I can't see those promos being kept on for much longer. They have been on long enough already, always reminding us it's "coming soon". It would be crazy if the channel isn't on before the end of this month.

Well they say it's a relaunch with a reworked format that is more specific to the Babestation girls, so yes it looks like the content's going to be softer from now on, which makes the Xtreme name totally redundant.
I've been away from the forum for some time so I'm just catching up. I gather Xtreme is finishing anytime now and a relaunch is imminent. Let's hope the new format is sold more honestly than the old product. I've got a feeling that there will be a lot of vagueness and this "reaching her peak" stuff that's been on the last few days is practice for what's going to be done in the future with the new channel.

Yes I think exactly the same. All the girls that go on there will be reaching their peak. I can't see how they'll be able to fill a whole night with this stuff though, so think they'll still end up recycling old "porn" movies to fill the schedules.
People will try it to begin with (just to see what it's like) but once they realise it's the same old con the numbers will fall off and we'll back to roughly where we are now with Extreme. BS will probably be happy just to get some additional income for a short time.
If BS were to encourage some reasonably hot action between some of the existing girls (at least up to the level of the earlier 2-4-1s that we used to enjoy), I might be interested. I suspect they'll chicken out and use the Ofcom argument, even though I gather from earlier posts this doesn't apply to this channel. Presumably if they can get enough money from the girls doing "Harry met Sally" impressions they won't push the boundaries any further.

That's 2 really good posts above from harry angel and SteveHG. I thing I would point out though is that 2-4-1's would not be pushing the boundaries on an encrypted channel. Even if they were fully naked 2-4-1's they would not be pushing the boundaries on an encrypted channel. Even if the channel set out to broadcast strictly in accordance with all Ofcom rules then 2-4-1's would still not be pushing the boundaries. The Ofcom requirements which currently restrict 2-4-1's on Babestation and other channels do not apply to an encrypted channel.
