normally they make the semi final draw now as well but apparently thats gonna be made at a later date, i think dortmund have a great chance to make the final provided barca and madrid meet each other in the semis.
Uefa are a joke reducing ibrahimovic's ban.. was a straight red card for dangerous play, platini's french side is showing again...
Even though bayern won 9-2 at the weekend I still think Juventus will come through winners over the 2 legs down to their defence. Would be nice to see Juve Win Smile

I think Barca will comfortably beat PSG too who rely far too much on ibrahimovic.
Strange decision by Mourinho to play young 19 year old Varane in defence up against the strength and experience of Drogba and leaving A big Strong experienced player like Pepe on the bench. Also playing Essien out of place at Rightback and leaving Arbeloa on the bench, doesn't seem to make sense.
who am I to argue with the special one! Wink Looking like an all spanish Semi Final & an All German Semi, id be suprised if Galatassaray or Malaga make it to the final.
This season Barcelona will play in a 6th consecutive Champions League semi-final (a record run). Borussia Dortmund have made the semis this year for the first time in 15 seasons, but Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid were all there last season.
Awesome Bayern earlier. Beast of a team.

They produced a great perfomance. The 2nd leg will be interesting to see if the mighty Barca can overhaul such a large scoreline. They are too arrogant a team at the moment who have started to believe it is their god given right to win. Messi, great as he is and a few others in the team looked to the ref for a decision every single time they lost the ball.
Having said that Adrian Chiles showing his lack of knowledge by claimimg that perhaps the reign of Barca is over. What? on the evidence of a couple of iffy performances and one thrashing!Rolleyes
The mark of any great team is how they bounce back after being humiliated.

I would agree that the mark of great team is how they bounce back after a humiliation, but I'd give Bayern their due though, they are certainly trying to make up for losing to Chelsea last season. When was the last time a German team won the Champions League?
The thing with barca though is they didn't want to address the areas they needed improving on, they needed another centre back like a kompany type for the past 2 years but they didn't want to go get one and also another striker.

They do bring out exciting young players for the first team but they should realise particularly for the CL they need strengthening in order to be prepared for all sorts of teams and to have a larger squad to choose from.
