There was an article about the away goals rule in the Guardian and makes some good points that perhaps there is no need for it. It gives lesser teams more of a chance of going through, but I think it would make for more entertaining games if there was no away goals rule.
Even as a Spurs fan its shame to see Arsenal work so hard on the night and still lose, its shame they didn't play like the first league but there's always next year they should still proud they did good on the night

Happy that Bayern went through, I thought it was a very poor game from both teams, Aresenal couldn't put 2 passes together half the time, Walcott apart from his cross for the goal did nothing but give the ball away, Arteta's decision making was terrible and gave away needlless fouls time and time again.
Bayern looked as if they already knew they had the game won from the first leg, they didn't really know how to approach the game, if Bayern played to half of what they are capable of Arsenal wouldn't have stood a chance tonight.
I think the people saying Arsenal deserve to go through are missing the point that Bayern had pretty much already wrapped it up and did what they had to away, despite the result tonight Arsenal had two very poor games, Bayern will move on from tonight and come back strong in the next game.
And the away goal rule is a good idea as it means the away team should try and attack instead of sitting 11 men behind the ball on the edge of their box for 90 mins with no intent to score and just defend, I hate watching games like that not entertaining at all.....

I don't think there will be a next year for arsenal, maybe europa league at best
