looking at our fixtures after swansea game we have more than a good chance to make the top 4, last year it was a 10 point gap and we managed to overturn that so at this present time spurs 7 point gap is nothing. Spuds still have to play chelsea and city as well as going away to swansea i believe so it's still on.

In terms of not deserving to go through, we did deserve it because it would have been easy to just go into the match and just play for fun but it wern't like that, we were bothered and had determination, what's being said about the poor passing was true but fact of the matter is we defended well and could have gone through.

Aint our fault bayern didnt play to their maximum, we just highlighted how careless they could be and you can get at them even if you only manage 2-3 attempts on goal.

The whole playing bayern could have been avoided if wenger took the group stage seriously instead of playing weakened teams against schalke ect, didn't even attempt to top the group which would have given you galatassaray instead... Then in the home game against bayern you were very poor and defending was terrible.

Over the 2 legs bayern were the better team and did what they had to get through..
That's true the first leg result always has to fuck it up for us
I just think wenger needs to be replaced and somebody with new ideas needs to come in.. It's one thing getting in the champions league but he just seems content with that and nothing else seems to matter with him anymore..

Bayern looked as if they already knew they had the game won from the first leg, they didn't really know how to approach the game, if Bayern played to half of what they are capable of Arsenal wouldn't have stood a chance tonight.

I think the people saying Arsenal deserve to go through are missing the point that Bayern had pretty much already wrapped it up and did what they had to away, despite the result tonight Arsenal had two very poor games, Bayern will move on from tonight and come back strong in the next game.

And the away goal rule is a good idea as it means the away team should try and attack instead of sitting 11 men behind the ball on the edge of their box for 90 mins with no intent to score and just defend, I hate watching games like that not entertaining at all.....

But look at AC Milan on Tuseday against Barcelona. They sat back until Barcelona clawed their way back level. Newcastle in the first leg against Anzhi sat back just for a 0-0 draw. I think most teams away from home prefer to just to nick a draw or keep the score down and try and win the tie in the home leg.

I'm sorry I have to disagree. I think over the two legs, Bayern Munich were the better team. But it was a great effort from Arsenal, but I don't think they had enough quality to punish Bayern for their lacklustre display. They defended well Arsenal and I'm wondering if Koscielny and Mertesacker is Arsenal's better centre back partnership because Vermaelen has been out of form all season.

I know bayern sorted it in the first leg but in their case u don't allow the opponent to get back in the tie and that's what they did, like u said if we had more quality up front it could have happend for us.

I don't think Wenger will leave vermaelen out but he has to look at koscielny who didn't do nothing wrong, same wid jenkinson before sagna came back he was doing well and shouldn't have been taken out.
Champions League quarter final draw

Bayern Munich v Juventus.

Paris Saint-Germain v Barcelona.

Real Madrid v Galatasaray.

Malaga v Borussia Dortmund.
