I think it's YOU who needs to "get a life" seeing as you're spending so much time bitching and whining like a little boy about some TV channels which you clearly can't stand. It's actually quite funny reading your ever more deranged posts as you're realising that you're losing the argument, and losing it big time.

That would prevent me making such mistakes as getting everyone age wrong whenever I post in future, I feel such an idiot for thinking that the age group of 18-30 would cover it. I shall now go and rip out my fingernails as an act of contrition. That is the very least I can do.

Honestly, every time you make a new post you further defeat your own argument. Sensible comments could at least be respected if not agreed with, but instead its really strange phrases and comparisons that you and all your miserable bastards (your words Wink ) insist on saying that kind of make you look a bit silly.

I'm sure there must be another forum somewhere that will make you feel more at home. Is there not an Ofcom Regulations forum that you can go and join? Wink

PS.. Mine's 25/08/79 Wink

I suppose I must be a 'fan boy' as I really enjoy ringing one or two ladies and used to spend quite a while calling the dayshows (never have them on unless I'm calling) .....if it wasn't for 'fan boys' wouldn't there be no channels, I've always thought its the guys that call whoose opinions count most.

Its like me going into a newsagent and looking at a naughty mag.. I'm not going to buy it... so my opinions to the publishers are pretty irrelevant really.

For the record I have no issue with Ofcom tightening the rules on day clothes, i still find the outfits sexy and revealing to a degree and it didn't stop me calling....what did stop me calling was the tightening up on the strong innuendo option in my chat....so here I do blame Ofcom...the overall cost though was the main reason its just not sustainable and was the first thing that had to go in the current climate ...which is a pity

For the record I am 38 not bad looking, free and single, probably should get a life women wise.... but the dayshows filled the void wonderfully instead lol

The irony is off the charts.
I notice how you're all concentrating on pulling up RESPONSIBLE ADULT for his individual remarks rather than sticking to the subject, none of which is destroying his argument, namely that these shows are now a shadow of their former self because of the new generation of viewers who are content and happy to put up with the current dog shit we've been left with by Ofcom.

well said stan !
I never watched the old shows so I can't compare. But it's absolutely pointless to keep living in the past. If you and "Responsible Adult" were to stop thinking you're better and more important than us so-called "fanboys" just because you've been watching them for longer, and accept that others don't share your opinions, you wouldn't get so much ridicule.
Now when I next call Elite, I'll get added satisfaction. As well as talking to my favourite babes, I've also got the knowledge that I'm helping to keep them in business, which is exactly what you two don't want Big Grin

I'll say it again, prove that this is the case otherwise I don't buy it, as I far as I can see the only evidence to possibly support this is a few posts on a Internet forum.

Talking about sticking to the subject (funny considering Responsible Adult, went off it first with the fanboy remark) why don't you reply to my initial question, what is out there to prove that younger viewers are the reason channels aren't as good as they used to be?
I've kept my council throughout this "lively" debate, however enough is enough. We are where we are with the Babe Channels & Ofcom. We have to either enjoy/accept the Channels for what they currently are or SWITCH OFF.

However long we continue to debate this issue, ultimately it will change nothing. I enjoy the "Tease" from some of the girls, as long as it's kept fresh and the only way the Channels can achieve that is by alternating/rotating the girls & their schedule. Elite's Daytime girls doing the occasional night for example goes some way to satisfying some of us, but sadly the past is exactly that......."THE PAST".
In many ways watching the babe channels these days is a form of torture, you tune in night after night in hope rather than expectation that the rules might just suddenly change overnight, but I've said this before that even if Ofcom are here to stay, the board of directors operating inside it will allways change as will their opinions, maybe one day they'll just turn round to all the channels and say look just do what you want to do, afterall you are on the Adult EPG and in hindsight our rules and regualtions for which you have to work under are a little bit harsh and unrealistic. All we need is liberal minded individuals in the future, if I was on the board I would be one of the first to call them all into a meeting to deliver the good news, ah well we can only dream, can't we, whilst there is still babe channels there is still some hope that one day we might just see the product as it was intended to be in the first place and when that time comes there will indeed once more be a point to these channels Cool
