I'd love to have a device for our TV's where we could get online content right on the big screen

Some of the more recent Blu-ray DVD players have this function built in. I have a Sony one which connects via hdmi to my tv.
It also connects via an ethernet cable to my router and provides various internet content such as BBC iplayer, youtube vids, dailymotion vids, recent channel 5 programs, plus other free content. There is also other content available, which requires registering by computer and paying for. I believe the new "smart tvs" have a similar function already built into them.
There is not as yet any "adult" content on mine, but there is no reason why this could not be provided in the future.

Have to say that more and more I am thinking that each broadcaster having some channels remain as they are and some that are pin-protected is the best way forward for everyone. The casual browser still has channels they can flick back and forth between; those in search of something a little stronger can still get them for free; the channels (in my opinion) would probably generate MORE caller income and Ofcom would (hopefully) be slightly reassured by the protection offered by using a pin!

What do you think?

Hey there (just caught up), and I hope this no longer depresses you hehe. By that 'casual' surfer I had in mind (to Stan also) a kind of logical moment that I presume anyone would have to go through, between the time when we weren't aware of the existence of the babechannels, and the time when we suddenly became aware of the babechannels. Maybe that happened at a mate's house, or maybe that happened when we first bought a shiny new Sky box, but presumably it must have happened to all of us. I'm not sure I would've bothered entering pins if they were all advert screens, I think it took me 'seeing the goods' as it were (maybe it was Rachel Cole, or Tiff or Charlie C) before I really would've been interested enough.

But actually Grawth you seem to have developed your position to include parallel content, some free-to-air as a shop window, with content up to perhaps what we are allowed now, and then some encrypted streams where possibly the same girls can do more, up to what they are comfortable with. I see that you would need the free-to-air to get interest in the encrypted channels.

Well actually I think similarly, but I was thinking the parallel content would be on internet. So I am very open to your development. I'd love to see anything that works.

Perhaps we could say that babestation extreme is already along these lines, and I am not sure if that has been a raging success, plus I don't like the charge (although presumably it is to cover the lower uptake of users). To be fair, parallel content on internet hasn't made great strides yet either (c'mon Elite and RLC!), plus also subject to potential charges as well. I hope they do keep it free but not sure if they will. (sorry for the lengthy posts)
There used to be parallel content, though not quite as you describe. Sport used to be free to air until 11pm, showcasing the babes for hours. And didnt they have a phase when they had free to air pixellated shows on at the same time as encrypted live shows? People used to complain that the encrypted shows didnt show what you would get if pixellation was taken away (gg and bg oral sex, masturbation, toy use). People also complained that the live shlws stopped at 3am and were followed by American films. Boy, were we spoiled. "Only" 3-4 hours of live full frontal. Babes actually talking filth. And thats apart from the era with full on sex shows.

Yes, parallel content has been tried, and it worked.

A lot of modern tellys also have an input specifically for a PC. You pop your basic PC with a wireless broadband connection near the tv (no need for anything fancy, or for a monitor), plug the cable in, couple it with a wireless keyboard and wireless handheld trackball mouse (available cheaply from amazon and other places) and bob's your uncle. You have a 40 inch monitor allowing you complete access to everything your internet can provide!!!
What piss's me off most is when certain forum members will state the bloody obvious such as if you want porn you can get it on the internet, oh really thanks for that I had no fucking idea that such a thing existed on the internet, well happy days then that's me sorted, no more do I have to whinge about the crap that's on the telly if I can get my kicks elsewhere that not only costs you the fucking sky in excessive usage charges but it's also of very shitty and grainy quality too bladewave Guess what you've been able to get porn off the internet long before the dawn of the babe shows, so that argument is fucking flawed from the start. Time to get real here you cannot make comparisions between the internet and the TV. I mean if that was the case then the babe channels would have folded a long fucking time ago !!!!!

Yeah well it depends how often you view these channels. If you're a casual viewer then the quality of these shows doesn't really bother that much as it would someone who sits up and watches 6 hours every night.

To someone who watches these shows maybe a couple of times a week, although I would like them to improve, I'm not gonna lose any sleep if they don't. And to me these channels will never be great unless they're doing hardcore porn, which I know is never going to happen even if they were allowed. Because some of these women aren't into it. The odd flash/slip or someone sucking on a dildo or two women kissing does nothing for me. If that's the extra bit of content people feel they're missing out on then to me personally, it doesn't seem like really much. But I understand to some it does seem that way.
The channels are what they are, they're not all bad as certain people keep wanting to insist.

You watch them and enjoy them as and when you feel like it. You should all do what I do and have them on in the background while you're doing other things. The moaners need to stop taking things too seriously. Enjoy the channels when your favourite girls are on and don't watch them when they're not.

Not exactly rocket science is it? Rolleyes

You should help Scotland get independence, new babeshows might appear and broadcast stronger content will benefit you greatly Big Grin
For that matter, if you want to see pussy you can always gat a girlfriend. (Or support Man U). Or buy a mag.

But its not the same.

Why should we put up with these restrictions? Remember a few years back when TV could not broadcast swearwords? Despite all of us - and our women - being familar with them and using them occasionally?

There are countries where you cannot hear new stories the government doesnt want you to. In the UK it used to be illegal to report child custody cases. It now turns out some pretty odd decisions were being made behind closed doors. And its illegal in the UK to mention some politicians love children "to protect the child".

In much of Europe it is illegal to mention spent convictions of some Euro politicians - even in the European Parliament - because under local law spent convictions cannot be mentioned.

But back to sex. We can probably all find porn. But a computer screen just isnt the same as a big TV screen. Not yet. Jerky video on demand isnt the same as a smooth sharp TV channel. Recorded 5 minute clips with guaranteed endings arent the same as an all night TV feed, or the sheer joy when an innocent cutie suddenly gives a nice surprise. Internet sites are largely teaser clips just trying to sell subscriptions or DVDs. Find a clip you like and chances are it will be on a page with content you find yuckky like incest, scat, "school girls", transexuals, gay, grannies or whatever it is you happen to dislike, and if you are really unlucky the next clip will auto start. A good few sites host viruses so you might lose your credit card details or inadvertantly act as a proxy spambot and get on an FBI list. And theres about a 50% chance that the video you click on simply takes you to a page full of liks to other sites or says file not found.

Sometimes I just want something that works, is reliable and can sit in the corner of the room with a pleasant image on it. Is that too much to ask?

For those who actually have a say in the matter unfortunately, yes, that remains the fact, we can disagree with that all we want, I just fear it will get worse.

Although I'm starting to think it's more than just over-protection for younger viewers, I don't even it's that at all sometimes.
