Please can any of you give me some advice about texting the Daytime Show?

Today early evening (6.40pm) I texted in asking for one of the girls to stand up and give us a twirl.

I realise the major problem is if the girls are popular and can't get time in between calls to read out messages, then it will look as if your text has been ignored.

If a presenter is popular and evening calls are expected to be pretty high, should Elite be promoting a text message service (via on screen adverts + the girls asking us to text them) which they know they probably cannot act upon? i.e. the texts sent in cannot be responded to because the girls are frequently on the phones???

Maybe I should only text in during quiet times during the day - then perhaps the girls will have time to read out and respond to the messages??
But do the Daytime presenters still read out text messages anymore?

Has anyone else ever sent in texts, and if so how did that work out for you, i.e. were they read out etc.?

I would really appreciate any advice please - this evening I never got a response, so I waited 2 hours 20 mins for nothing!!

I have just been reading alot of the threads posted and hope you dont mind me joing in ... i am new to Elite TV daytime and to answer the text message thing babe sometimes if you dont put the name of the girl you want it wont get through to her and may go through to another girl i don't know whether that helps???

Maybe you guys can help me i agree with the idea of a different set and i have a few ideas myself but i wondering whether you can help me with what to wear as that is something i never know what to do? It is hard sometimes for us girlies to sort out underwear ect for certain sets but if there are any ideas you could give me i would be greatful

Can anyone advise me on this please, the camerawork at Elite?

When the girls stand up, the 1st rule seems to be the camera should immediately zoom in for a very close close-up. Then, move the camera down to their feet, back up to their face. Then repeat this again, and again, and again.

Then, knowing that the TV graphics take up such a large amount of space on screen, when a girl stands up and turns around to show off their fantastic bum, the camera often does not adjust the shot to account for these big graphics - resulting in the graphics getting in the way and hiding most of this "rear view".
Surely the cameramen know that any part of the girls' bodies which are in the bottom third of their camera monitor will be hidden by the on-screen graphics??

I have never seen the camera zooming right out when any of the girls stand up on set - so I've never seen a proper fullbody image of the girls when they've stood up on set. It's a shame.

Maybe Elite TV have really set themselves up as a webstream channel, as the graphics there are so much smaller? But this still doesn't explain why there's so much close up camerawork, never giving the callers/viewers proper fullbody shots when the models stand up, because the camera guys never seem to zoom right out.

I don't get it, surely not every single caller asks the cameraman to zoom in when the girls stand up?
Surely I'm not the only person who would love to see all of the girls' bodies on screen in one shot when they stand up on set?
